Great tent! Tried it out for the first time this weekend (50-60 degrees, rainy weather). We had two dogs and two adults inside the tent and it felt very roomy. Six people could logistically fit but I think four people would be the max if you plan to spend any time in the tent besides sleeping. Set up was really easy, which is nice since we ended up having to set up in the dark. What impressed us the most was how the tent handled the rain...there was not a drop of water inside (that we or the dogs didnt track in). We used another rain tarp over the screened in porch and that allowed us to use the screened-in porch as a place to stash all our wet rain jackets and hiking books. The screened in area floor has a mesh drain so it still got wet with the rain tarp but was easy to drain when we were packing up. We also used a ground tarp inside (instead of outside) and it made packing up really easy and mess free. One of our dogs is a 5-month puppy that tried to dig through the tent a few times but the tent held up. Overall we love this tent!

Trip 1: Cold, Rain, Wind and a Pretty Decent Tent

Our first trip was 5 nights with a big range of weather. There was plenty of space inside for anything that needed to stay dry, a queen-sized air mattress, and to still have room to move around. At 58 my husband had to duck a little, but at 52, I rarely even touched the roof edges inside. All and all a good investment. It took longer to place and stake the tarp we bought for underneath than to set up the tent. (Photo: view from camp...failed to get the tent in the photo) Review below broken down by weather we experienced: 40 degree night (+/- 5 degrees): coldest I ever remember being when camping, but much of that likely had to do with not properly insulating the air mattress and using linens instead of sleeping bags. It was probably in the mid-50s when we went to sleep and inside the tent was a comfortably temperature. The next day we bought sleeping bags, it was probably in the high 50s that night, and we were perfectly comfortable. Rain (misting to downpour): the rain picked up just when we finished cooking breakfast. A couple of camp chairs on the front porch and we were able to stay mostly dry. Really not sure why they didnt make a longer rain fly for the porch. It rained all day and the porch was a red mud mess from us coming in and out. We used a moving blanket as a doormat and that helped keep the inside clean. Inside the tent was perfectly dry; no leaks or wind-driven rain getting in. Wind: last morning we woke up to 20+ mph sustained with 30+ mph gusts. Tent was still standing and sturdy, but it had just enough wiggle to buffet our heads and serve as a rude alarm. Next time well just scoot the air mattress down closer to the porch divider. Recommended extra gear: 10X Tent Stakes Bag Aspen Meadows Sleeping Bag (you can zip two together for a queen-sized sleeping bag) 11 Ft. 4 In. X 15 Ft. 6 In. Silver/Heavy Duty Reflective All Purpose/Weather Resistant Tarp

Great Quality, Value and easy Set-up. Delivers exactly as advertised.

Great quality! Great value. I did a lot of research and this tent is a great product. Originally, I was looking for a 2-3 man tent and figured why not have additional space. This tent is roomy and the front vestibule area is great pre-entry before entering the main cabin area of the tent. Floor material is very substantial and goes partially up which is great for keeping water out. Rain fly goes on very easily. The tent set-up goes up fairly quickly too, even with one person. Im very satisfied with the tent for the price, set-up and quality. Ive used this several times this year with no problem in Oak Creek Canyon (In woods area with rain), Greer (at altitude and with wind) and also in the desert of McDowell Mountain Park.

Great quality, loved it! Porch not awesome.

This is a great car-camping tent! Hubby and I used this to stay in for a week. We kept a queen sized mattress and luggage in it. There is room enough to stand up and get dressed. We camped in light rain and the fly worked great. There is great ventilation. The bucket bottom is super. The one drawback is the front porch. Im not really sure what it is good for. In the rain, it fills with water despite the clever drain in the front. The rain fly doesnt cover the porch so you cant leave anything out there. I guess its a good sort of air lock to keep bugs out. It would be handy if you were camping where it didnt rain. REI has almost the same tent without the porch.

Excellent Tent! Lots of space in both inner and screened area. Zippers work well and rain-fly went on easily.

    The best tent.

The best tent ... EVER !! Goes up quick easy. Looks great. I bought it for just my husband I ~ so its wonderfully roomy. Love the porch . I put up a queen air mattress and used a rubbermaid tote as an end table in the tent proper. Battery candles - cute safe. I put a little camp table two chairs on the porch - tho we had good weather and never really needed to sit in there. But, it would have been perfectly comfortable to hang out and play cards, drink wine, whatever - if we had. Cant say enough good things. Bought it on Prime and received it within two days. I love my tent. And so does my dog, Sugar !!

Love the tent and have used it 4 or 5 times already but one of the poles already broke! Pretty disappointed in that.

Good tent at a great price.

Excellent value for the price. I camp on the job for upwards of a week at a time at primitive, at best, locations. Although it is a bit hefty for backpacking it works great as a home base with plenty of room for gear. To compensate for the lack of a back window flap I clipped a mylar emergency blanket to the poles at the rear before attaching the rainfly. My concern was primarily in retaining heat during 35° nights. No complaints as yet.

Great tent for family of 4

Great Tent. Easy to put up and take down. Loved the netted entry way. Great place to sit or to put all the camping gear. Helped keep the ants off the cooler unlike the others were with. Rain guard worked as it should and stayed dry. Took it off during the day to all air flow with the ample netting on top.
