The only major downside to this tent (which I didnt notice before buying) is that the back is a screen that can not be closed. There is also a screen at the top of the tent as well. The rain cover provides privacy from people looking in, but not much defense against the cold nights. Needless to say we will have to be WAY more prepared in the future to prevent freezing!
I set the tent up by myself! The tent easily withstood some strong winds. Very roomy for me and two dogs. Highly recommend this tent! One word of advice, buy the tent stakes. I didnt care for the stakes that came with the tent.
We bought this tent to go up to one of the NASCAR Races. My other half was not impressed with the idea of camping whatsoever, he does not and I quote Work hard all week to pretend like Im homeless on the weekend. Lulz. Anyway, the tent comfortably fit a raised queen and a raised twin. This tent for the 2 nights it was used impressed him. Wasnt the quick setup Im used to but it went together all right like 15 or 20 minutes, faster if I read the directions. Weather dipped into the 40s on the second night so we added the rainflap, there was some condensation on the interior from breathing but really no complaints. Very solid tent.
I really like this tent. It is huge, with room to stand -kind of-
I successfully fit myself and another person into this tent, and I can easily imagine fitting in more people. I know it says 6-person, but Id say 4 comfortably.
The screened front is great, but obviously you will get wet if it rains and you only have a net between you and the water. With fly on and windows shut, we stayed dry in two storms with a tarp that didnt fit.
Really really loved this tent. We took it on a yearly camping trip and got so many envious comments! We even had everyone hang out on the front portion when it got a bit uncomfortable outside and it was nice to be protected from the bugs you cant see when it gets too dark.
It a HUGE tent and it really is like two separate bags, one with the poles and one with just the tent. I would bring this anywhere you can drive almost directly to your site but otherwise a great purchase for the price.
The entire back side is screen so it can get chilly even in a desert night so just have extra blankets just in case!
Cant wait to use it again!
This thing is huge and relatively easy to put up and take down. Beware, though, if you are camping somewhere windy (Deathvalley for example) - this thing is like a square sail on a clipper ship, so stake everything down tightly (especially the rain fly). Loses a point for extremely minimalist directions.
I was super unsure about purchasing this tent because I read reviews that it rips or that the instructions are not clear.
Well, the instructions are pretty crappy BUT if you have set up a tent before it is super easy.
I bought this tent for camping music festivals. Its HUGE. I could fit 2 queen sized beds and still had room. 3 adults stayed in the tent and we definitely had room to fit at least 3 more adults.
Im 54 and able to stand up straight in it and still had space above my head. The front fly room is amazing!! It was perfect for storing our cooler, shoes, etc.
It has a loop in the middle to hang a lantern but its super small, I used a zip tie to hang my light.
I had to set up this tent in super windy conditions, but still easy to set up. I did need help setting it up because of the wind, but could totally do it on my own if needed. It held up perfectly in 40mph winds for 4 days/3 nights and I didnt even tie it down.
As for the ripping, I can see why people would say that. Do NOT over extend it and make sure all the zippers are closed before you set it up.
I do recommend purchasing better stakes as these just bend way too easy. I had to purchase a full set of sturdy stakes.
Not sure about rainy conditions yet, but the wet grass was not felt inside the tent.

Love!
Have only used this once so far, but it rained on us and we were perfectly dry. No leaks! Very spacious and I love the two parts to the tent!
One person setup
