I wanted an inexpensive, lower loft bed for my daughter and when I saw this one with the slide I ordered it right away. She is almost 7 but she tends to wake up in the middle of the night and I was worried about her being too high off the ground. And she can still stand on this bed and not hit the ceiling fan yet. It took my husband and I maybe an hour or a little more to put together. Instructions were simple to follow. A couple pieces had what seemed like dirty fingerprints on them and a couple were welded together crooked so it took a little work to get them to hook together. Once together, it is very sturdy. I even went down the slide with no problem and its fast! Only thing I didnt take into account was how much space it would take up. We lost her only two full/empty walls so I had to do some major reorganizing in her closet due to getting rid of two pieces of furniture so we could keep the slide. But she can fit under the bed for playtime with some of her toys.
The bed is nice looking and works out perfectly for my needs. Its strong enough to have adults sleep on it too. Everything you need for the installation comes with it. The instructions are not the best, but they are manageable. It will probably take 2 people 2 hours to make this bed/ if you use a power drill. However, make sure you have the drill on a lower setting. Otherwise, you can strip the screws.
The issue I had/is that one of the side panels that came in the box was obliviously a supper used product. It had a lot of dust and a bad stain on it. Even after much trying, the stain does not go away. That particular panel was probably a demo or was returned by someone. I only noticed that stain when I was almost done with assembling the bed, and there was no way I was gonna disassemble it at that point to return the product. I needed that bed right away for my kids.
Other than that one bit, the bed is not bad. But I dont thin I will buy from this seller/manufacturer again. They definitely have some Quality control issues. If you do decide to get this bed, make sure all the panels and accessories are brand new, before you start your construction.
My 4 year old son loves this bed. Its the perfect height for him, because its not very tall. It went up pretty quickly and its about as sturdy as Id expect it to be for the price we paid. Very satisfied with this purchase.
Considering you could go to a ton of furniture stores and get a plain old twin bet, I bought this thing with a memory foam twin and spent a little under 300 for both. I didnt buy the blanket firefighter bottom part cause it seems expensive but this bed is great and sturdy and only took about an hour to put together. I have two little ones and they are on the slide all the time and love it. I kick them both off when they are both on it but just goes to show that its sturdy and I love the purchase. Good buy and your kids will love it.
I was a little intimidated when I received this huge box and opened it up and saw all of the pieces, but it only took my dad about an hour to put the whole thing up. He just needed a little help putting the slide on. My 3 year old loves his new bed, he cant get over having a slide on his bed. It is not as tall as I thought it would be, but it is tall enough to where he can play underneath it, and we can store some of his toys under it. It is a really great price for what you get.
We got this bed for our two/year/old son. We bought the firetruck curtains that match it. Our son has a blast on this bed. The slide is very sturdy. Our son walks up the slide instead of using the ladder but its a great bed for a little one. Very happy with our purchase.
my almost 4 year old loves this bed. It was a great purchase, cheap enough that its ok if it doesnt last forever but sturdy and toddler proof. The kids are always going up and down up and down. Only complaint is that the corners of the railing that end by the top of the slide are a little sharp. If those were rounded it would be perfect.

Sturdy bed frame, nice size slide. The slide can be loud / echo/y when played on, but that doesnt bother me much.
I do wish it was higher so that there was more play space underneath. Its mostly getting used as storage space when I thought it would be a fun play area.
