Considering you could go to a ton of furniture stores and get a plain old twin bet, I bought this thing with a memory foam twin and spent a little under 300 for both. I have two little ones and they are on the slide all the time and love it. I kick them both off when they are both on it but just goes to show that its sturdy and I love the purchase.
