Putting the bed together took me about 2 hours by myself. When putting the slats together that hold up the mattress on the day bed, it only has you screw in 3 of the slats, instead of each individual slat. Every time my daughter moves on the bed it squeaks, and it sometimes wakes her up. Overall, its great, but the noise is obnoxious. The trundle bed works great. I used a normal size twin mattress, and it fits underneath the daybed just fine.
This bed works great in my teen daughters room. It was easy for me to put together with her help, light enough to move around the room, and it seems nice and sturdy. It will be great for sleepovers.

Very sturdy and easy to move around even with the mattress on. The pieces that make up the bottom of the bed and trundle were a little hard to put together, deducted a star for that. One of the wheels broke when I was moving the bottom trundle, I contacted the seller and was sent a replacement within the next week. My daughter loves her new big girl bed, and especially that she will have a place for her friends to sleep during sleepovers.
