NO SPRING SUSPENSION DECK. Shipped from Wal/Mart!!
The bed is attractive, frame is solid and appears to be sturdy, however, before I bought this item, I researched it to assure that it came with a SPRING suspension deck. It did not: It came with the rigid Bar deck / two sections that connect with crossbars that slide into holes and clamped together on the lengthwise center bar with brackets and bolts. The tooling of the rigid deck is dicey at best and there is a 1/2 inch gap between the crossbars and the raised spine. This will assure a ruined mattress over a relatively short amount of time. Since we had no choice but to keep the bed we assembled it and will try to find a spring suspension deck from a reputable local business.
Sellers should be compelled by to disclose EXACTLY what the consumer should expect.
Love my day bed. Its in my spare room. Took me about 3 hrs to put it together by myself. I go step and step and have to follow instructions, so it can be a slow process. Someone else might require less time. Everything required to put it together came with the bed. It is sturdy and looks nice. I ordered a twin size mattress that fit perfectly. Problem was I order a med/firm mattress that ended by being too hard but a foam pad that I purchase took care of the problem. My mom has used the daybed when she visited for a few days and she said it was very comfortable.

Had a little trouble when we started assembling it because some holes did not line up with the second part but they were very helpful and sent the part needed right away. You can adjust the height of the base where the mattress goes. If you adjust it high, you can fit a trundle.
I ordered this bed and I love itbut I cannot get it together. Can someone please tell me how they got their bed together so easily. I cannot get the screws to go in the bedposts/frame. What am I doing wrong. I am using all the tools but the screws just will not go in and it is not aligning up I have tried for 2 days and am so frustrated. I love the look of this bed and know I will enjoy it if I can get it together. Can someone please give me some guidance. Thanks so much!!
The bed is really nice . Went together fairly easy although the springs were not as pictured and we had to go to the hardware store to get more screws and nuts. But it is very sturdy and it looks lovely.
Just put this in a rental as extra sleeping. The assembly was pretty straight forward. Noticed however 2 srews that need to be cut after putting it together as it will poke through your mattress or rip your sheets. Caps would have been nice to cover them. just lovely and comfy

Love the bed but frustrated with assembly
