My 4 year old love his new bed. He looks so cute in there and the under the bed is great for storage. Thought i would be taller so he could have like a clubhouse type thing under the bed but we made it work .the assembly was not that bad.
Husband put it together in about 1 hour / 90 minutes. Its sturdy I had to climb up there to hang up the canopy thing and it held my 175lbs just fine. My kids dont say the ladder hurts their feet, I got bed raisers like others suggested and the smaller bed we have is great under there. I also put lights underneath as people suggested. Super adorable, no problems or concerns. Excellent price for a solid quality product.
Love the look of this bunk bed and really like having my toddler close to the floor on the bottom bunk. It was really easy to assemble by my self in an afternoon. This was the highest weight rating that I found for low bunks at 400 lbs per bunk where many others were 200 lb limit. The only reason this is a 4 star rating instead of 5 star is because of the spacing of the support slats. They are too far apart in my opinion. So, I decided to put both sets on the top bunk and buy another set of supports for the bottom. I went with these Worked like a charm. Now both beds feel extra sturdy and you cant feel the slats through a foam mattress. Very happy with this product.
This bed is overall great! It was a bit shorter than I pictured, but its honestly perfect for my 4yo. She has so much fun with it, sliding down, and using the bottom for bookstoys .or hide n seek! Im 55 and I cannot sit up underneath unless I slouch, but its great storage.

Assembly can be frustrating. Some steps required two people.
The primary lateral supports for the top and bottom look very similar. There is about a 1 inch difference in their height. Make sure the support with more depth goes onto the top bunk!
1. Layout everything from the box by their number. Take the time to do this.
2. Spread out the hardware on a light colored cloth. I grouped them into a 4 count since more steps required that many.
3. Assembling the ends, pay attention to which side those little screws are drilled on.
4. Lateral supports; ensure the top and bottom are correct. You can easily verify this by (part K) fully seats. Its the part on the top bunk where the side boards terminate.

One year later and it stilll stands
It still stands one year later. I have four boys who love the slide even the 10/year/old smh. It still is standing, great product.
