Most storage you buy is 30 inches, this underneath is 29 and 3/4. You wouldnt think it makes a difference byt it does, had to put 2 chair pads on each stem to get the storage to fit. Probably could hold me easy at 225lbs, very sturdy.
am so happy that I decided on this purchase, the bed was easy to assemble, sturdy, and most importantly my daughter loved this bed. She has never slept alone in her room and the first night she got the bed she slept through the whole night. I couldnt get her out of it. I was also happy about the fact that I was able to store things under the bed that she can play with there, otherwise I wouldve had to give/throw away some of her toys.
Absolutely loved this. Only thing I wish were different is the plastic clips. A couple of them broke but extras came within the box Im guessing incase of that issue my 4 year old daughter though is super excited about her new big girl bed and so are we.
My son absolutely loves this bed! Very sturdy construction and we were able to make a superhero cave underneath. Took my husband and I about and hour and a half to assemble.

I am giving a 4 star review because of 2 reasons. (1) the slide is super long. My daughters feet hit the wall when she slides down and she is only 3ft tall. If your child has a really big room this may not be a problem for you. We got some thick padding for the wall, to help with this problem. (2) the corners are sharp and could be dangerous. We purchased padding for this as well which was 20 on . Overall it is a really cute bed! My daughter really loves it! I would recommend this bed. You really cant beat the price. Its also pretty easy to assemble.
We co/slept with our son for the first few years. When he was turning 3, we purchased this. He was stoked for the slide which he also used as a way to climb up to the bed.
This is a about half the height or a little more than a standard bunk bed. This made me more comfortable when he was young if he were to fall. Thankfully he never did. The first few nights I would put pillows at the stair and slide opening (there is railing everywhere else). We bought a thin mattress (6) to give extra railing protection.
It offers some storage under the slide. Underneath the bed, we have our old crib mattress. In the months ahead we will buy a second twin mattress for our youngest to use the bottom bunk on the floor. It is low so they have to be careful sitting up or standing underneath but this is fine while theyre young.
