I have two major complaints.
1) the guardrail on the non wall side is so wobbly that if you lean on it theres a decent chance it could give way. This board in particular should be made of a better quality wood.
2) The mattress support slats / there are too few of them and the mattress (a new one) sags in between them. I ended up spending 30 on additional boards to add sufficient support. I wouldve gladly paid the difference to have had both of these improved.

The slide keeps my 3 daughters and 1 dog happy for a solid 20/30mins, so Ill take what I can get!!

I sat down with my mother in law and together we put together in about an hour and a half. I am impressed by how sturdy it seems to be, especially the juncture of where the slide attaches to the bed and how thick and sturdy the slide itself is. My son is 5 and autistic and he has plenty of room to grow in this bed and really enjoys the sensory input he gets from the slide aspect. Perfect bed for him. I am writing this several months after we purchased and put together so I could give a fair opinion.

Sturdy great bed
Pretty east to put together. Very sturdy I was actually surprised at how sturdy it is. My granddaughter loves it!

Just what I wanted
This bed is perfect for my 3 year olds room.

In the process of changing our office into a bedroom. Our daughter loves this bed.
