A lot of parts and screws. The tool included is cheap and strips out. ONLY 2 SCREWS HOLD SLIDE ON! No other lips or securement but it holds it. It did arrive with a pretty big dent in one rail probably from shipping as the box is kinda cheap and thin. Will probably also put pool noodles on steps as they are very hard and thin. Otherwise not a bad buy and a lot cheaper then any others!
Pretty good quality. Prefect for my 3 and 4 year olds. Only problem is a few parts came bent and one piece missing. Nothing too bad to keep from putting together.
I really like how easy it was to put together. Its not very high up so I feel comfortable with my toddler in it (with the side rails of coarse). Its sturdy. The corners are a little hard but their not sharp like some of the reviews said. Its a hard plastic over metal for those corners so Im sure they dont feel good if you hit it but I dont think its likely to ever really hit it hard unless the kids are jumping on the bed and fall on it. Overall great purchase and my son loves it!
We love the bed. Our daughter loves the bed. Our biggest issue with it is there was this squeaking noise that drove us nuts for months and no matter how much we tightened or lubricated everything it kept squeaking so finally we figured out if you just shove some thick paper into the rail fitting on the head of the bed the bed will stop rubbing and squeaking.
Also, make sure to corner proof the bed if you have younger or rowdy children. Lots of sharp edges.
Easy to put together. I think it took maybe 45 minutes. Sturdy. Great height even if you have low ceilings or just have an older kid who wants a lofted bed and no slide. The ladder hurts his feet though so had to buy a step stool. I found curtains for it elsewhere so its like a fort but it was hard to find and expensive so keep that in mind if you want to do a fort. The plastic pieces that secure the bars underneath the mattress tend to pop off but its still very sturdy for a kid.

This was great, easy to put together even by yourself, as soon as it was my son says he loves it and couldnt stay off of it

All of the pieces were bent when they arrived which made it harder to put together.
