Took an extra set of hands in certain areas. The instructions werent totally clear on how to set some portions, so I had to take some things apart to rearrange so the ladder would fit right. Once it was setup it was very stable. My son loves it! Meets Expectations
Exactly what I was looking for. The bottom bed is low enough to where an adult can sit down without having to crouch. The only complain is that the bed is a bit wobbly. Looks so good!
I must say after reading reviews of bent parts, misaligned holes and missing items I had some concern but I went ahead with the purchase. Glad I did and I had, NO SUCH ISSUES. Nice item and works smoothly from sleep to couch and back again.
The package arrived with a minor ding and other normal shipping marks on the package / But it is heavy. I feel for those delivery people, oh my back.
Started by making sure with the wife that this was the agreed upon location. And of course after it was 3/4 assembled, the wife had changed her mind and wanted it relocated to another room. Oh my!
I did count and label nuts, bolts on a paper plates then used a socket wrench with proper hex key, a rubber mallet (one connection was tight) and blue locktite to secure nuts.
Three weekends in a row we had family over and it got a work out. No noises/no rattles and everyone commented how nice it was, they seemed shocked that it was an purchase. Love it.
Set up and build even after relocation about 2 1/2 hours. Would I purchase again: Absolutely Loving it so far!
The bed is VERY tall. I bought this for my daughter and she is very happy with it but I wish I had paid attention to how tall the specs showed. With it fully assembled the ceiling fan is within a foot or so from the top (8 ceiling.) I will have to replace the fan with a light fixture. Aside from the height; which was my fault I suppose, the only other complaints that I have are as follows. 1) when assembled the bed shakes back and forth too much (side to side.) Its not going to topple over and is built decent enough, just a concern. 2) maybe its the new mattress not wanting to bend easily or the bed being brand new but I could not get the mattress to go from bed to couch by myself. I am strong enough to do so myself but I had to have someone bend the mattress to help me. Me likey!

Really like this bed. Sturdy, and not too squeaky. It looks fabulous.
