Aside from mine being slightly damaged, it is a very solid product. Im not one to sweat scrapes, and the bent/damaged parts werent too bad off. Since Im more resourceful than most, I managed to fix the damage well enough to put it finish putting the bed together. The instructions were easy enough to follow. I really liked that the packaging contained all the tools needed to assemble this item. As long as you dont get one damaged in the mail, you dont need anything else. I was rather disappointed that for the price, there wasnt at least a mattress for the fold/out futon portion. I should have inquired about whether it came with one before I purchased, so that is my fault for failing to research this item further. As other customers have stated, the box is heavy. Be prepared to lift with your legs and not your back! Hope to improve in the future
This is a beautiful bunk bed. It is sturdy, architecturally nice to look at, and it provides you with a TON of space. You could even fit two people on the top portion of the bunk bed, and the bottom portion pulls out into a bed very easily and efficiently. I have yet to actually begin using it, but from what I can see so far, I am pretty sure it will be great. Its pretty though!

We did have issues with a couple of pieces being unfortunately bent, but was able to direct me to the website where they replace damaged parts with no issue, so we have a complete working piece of furniture now.
It is, as other reviews say, VERY heavy. My fiance had to help the FedEx guy carry it from the truck. It also does take two people to put together, so be prepared! Much better than expected
product came without parts. I called the manufacturer and they said they would send them. they didnt . buy at your own risk I called and they said sorry and sent me the parts . It is a good bed. Perfect in every way.
Bought the bunk bed for our older children. It wasnt difficult for us to set up but is definitely a two person job and the kids love it What a great buy!
Just like the photo. Exactly what I needed for my son. Easy to assemble once everything was laid out and positioned as it should go. The bottom is easy to fold up when theres no mattress but gets a little tricky when you add the futon mattress. No big deal. Im enjoying it so far!

creaks a lot when child moves on bed at all. Had to stabilize it to reduce creaking. I was actually pretty disappointed.

Bolt that holds on the futon to the front was extremely bent. Takes forever to put together. Its a nice design though.
