Good buy for your money. Directions are easy to read and you are able to assemble it by yourself, if you like to struggle, like I do. The frame is sturdy and my 6 year old son loves it! He likes climbing up the ladder and during the day we sit on the futon and play games comfortably. Just a few dislikes. Once the NEW futon mattress is on, it is difficult (by yourself) to get from a flat position to an upright sitting position. I believe the mattress just needs to be broken in a bit though. The whole frame does need to be enough away from the back wall so the futon lays flat. Lastly, while sitting/sleeping on the bottom if the person on the top bed moves it shakes the whole thing. But these are minor issues in my mind. I didnt want to dish out a bunch of money on this particular item since the whole purpose for us buying this is just to have a little extra room for my family when they visit. It is beautiful and functional.
My granddaughter loves it. However the instructions were backward. Her dad is very handy but still took him a long time to assemble

Love the bed, much higher than I thought it would be. The only down side is that we did not receive a part that went to the bed, labeled S. So now we are playing the waiting game trying to find the part so we can finish the bed Good Quality for Cost
Boy was I nervous purchasing this bed. I read so many reviews on this one and simular futon bunkbeds. I was stressed with all the negative comments on every one of them. After looking for something in my local area and having no luck; I sucked it up, closed my eyes, and checked out. After seeing this bed arrive in a long but small box I was REALLY nervous. We are a seasoned Ikea furniture family so putting together futurniture is second nature to us. Still I am use to muiltiple boxes with lots pre/put together.

Im starting to wonder about so many negative reviews just being a product of so many negative people. Really.
My husband and I concluded at the end that some of the buyers must have gotten frustrated and bent some things, didnt have any experiencing putting furniture together, or just like leaving negative comments.
Honestly we put this thing together in about 2 hours with teen son, dad, and mom. It looks AMING! My 10 year old small frame son (who it was for) has No issue raising and setting the futon down. Reading the reviews I was worried!! Now the ladders are uncomfortable so for regular use of the top bunkeh. He is using the bottom nightly and the top when company comes over. His older brother will give up his Queen bed and sleep on the futon. Its very sturdy. Doesnt make noise and looks fabulous in his modern, star wars, lego themed room. HE LOVES IT! We all love it!

Shaky when assembled and stair rungs are hard on the feet. Definitely watch out for the top bunk weight limit. Im a bit disappointed.
LOVE IT, but not good for mobile homes
Will be too tall if you have a mobile home with 7 foot ceilings, but im VERY happy with the design and quality. Functional design
