    Needs more lumbar support

I bought this chair because the arms can flip up, so I can scoot all the way in, and the seat is flat / I tend to cross my legs under myself. It looks pretty good, but the comfort is just ok. My back and my seat both hurt after only a couple of hours of sitting in it, and it doesnt have nearly enough lumbar support. I also dont seem to be large enough to get the chair to tilt/ but my husband can manage it fine. I ended up locking it in a barely tilted position because its too upright for me if its not tilted back at all. The seat cushion is holding up pretty well, no sinking yet and Ive had it a couple of weeks, working 9/11 hour days. For someone who sits for less hours than I do, it would probably be fine. Also/ I can barely reach the floor with my tip toes when its in the lowest position / but I am only 53. Maybe just better suited for a larger person? Perfect for my needs.

Big girl approved, except for the creaks!

I decided to finally accept that working from home was a long/term commitment and decided to replace my kitchen chair desk chair substitute with a real office chair. Choosing office chairs is hard, especially online, but overall Im glad I went with this chair. Its very stylish but still functional/supportive which is what I needed (city/living / my workspace is in my bedroom which is the room I spend the majority of my time in, so I wanted something that I didnt hate staring at. Its a very low pile velvet, almost like a microfiber fabric, but thats probably better because its breathable while still being comfy. Im a big girl (size 24/26 pants, 280 pounds or so) and I can comfortably sit in this chair. Its a little tall for me (Im 53) even on its lowest setting. The one thing I dislike about this chair is that its CREAKY! Every lean or move while you sit in it makes a creaking noise / it doesnt feel unsturdy, its just noisy! Overall I am glad I went with this chair however. HAPPY!!

    Good chair

Great chair, I wanted something that was not leather and I could sit cross legged in. This is perfect and I love the material, seems to be a great chair so far I have had it for a week Good price.

    comfortable and big

Great chair overall and looks very nice. It is comfortable and I love that th arms can be raised so that I can push it under the desk. The only issue is that it doesnt adjust to be low enough. Im 510 and it is too tall for me. (My feet wont sit flat on the floor even at the lowest level). Ive had to get one of those foot rests for under the desk. If you are over 6 then it may be great. good buy!

    Overall Good Buy

Chair is firm and supportive, but comfortable. A little tricky putting it together. Probably a two person job for non/experts. The finish is more like microfiber than velvet. It is ok.

    Nice office chair

Squeaky chair but not bad for the price. I would buy again!

    great chair but shipping delays

Feels great to sit in, looks nice, but when shipping delays predicted seller was a little shady in cancelling the order and marking the cancellation customer cancelled, then asking us to re/order. Seller also hasnt refunded the 20 promised because of shipping delays, which actually ended up not being very delayed at all / thats why they are getting 4 starts despite multiple messages and having to re/order hassle. Overall I highly recommend this chair, and would order again as long as I didnt mind waiting a month or two to get it. Nice size.

Do you have horrible posture? Have you given in to it and just need a comfy chair? This is for you.

I have spent so much money on Extremely Fancy, Very Ergonomic Chairs with the hopes that they would be so comfortable that i would sit properly in them. But the truth is, dear reader, I am old and set in my ways. When concentrating, I will invariably discover that I have curled up, one leg tucked under me and one knee at my chin, like im at a starting block. Except im not. Im two feet off the ground in an uncomfortable chair, staring at a spreadsheet and thinking, Math Is Hard (holla! to 1980s Barbie marketing flops). So I have decided to embrace this personal flaw and look for chairs that accommodate how I sit vs. the other way around. THIS CHAIR does not try to make me something Im not. No, it gives me a nice wide, flat seat that doesnt curve up and end in a hard plastic edge (and therefore cut off circulation to my shins that are resting on it). The arms flip up and out of the way, but even when they are in position they dont seem to obstruct my efforts at chair yoga. I think my favorite part is that when i am all curled up like a pretzel, the back support is actually aming. I thought the chair would be squashier, but honestly, the foam (so far) is just the right amount of supportive. I often work extremely long days without really moving from my desk, and I need a chair that is more like a hug than a drill sergeant. The only thing i would change is to have the back just a weeeee bit higher so i could rest my head on it. But i have a long torso so this is basically a problem with Every Chair. And for 250 or whatever, fine. I thought the fabric would be like a low/pile velvet, its actually like a kind of tweedy microfiber. Still very soft. The assembly was just ANNOYING. Im very comfortable assembling things and while it was simple, it was AWKWARD because you have to hold the back in place with one hand while trying to find the holes for the screws with the other my husband offered to help me (after i finished, eh hem) and honestly, it would be easier to have a second set of hands for that step. The seller was experiencing some shipping delays due to covid slowdowns, etc., and was very communicative, which I appreciated. All in all, totally worth the money. Its not squeaky or wobbly as some reviewers have mentioned, but if that changes Ill update. Overpriced a bit.

Quite Possibly the Noisiest Chair Ive Ever Sat In

UPDATE: I have updated my rating to 4 stars, but only for customer service. This chair continues to be the noisest chair ever. The company is working VERY HARD to help me with my chair. They have sent me another chair, and I will update my review if it fixes my issues. Great customer service. I thought this chair was great when I got it. I needed something comfortable with a wide seat because I like to cross my legs when I sit. This chair is perfect for that. The arms can go up or down, which is also great. But, it is the noisiest chair I have ever sat in. When I move around, it clicks and pops so loud, it scares my dog. When I get up from the seat, my child hears me coming from the other room. There appears to be no way to fix this, as the chair is only placed onto the hydraulic piece. There is no tightening or anything that can be done. I am in desperate need of a chair, as I am working from home at the moment. I have not decided if I will return the chair because it was really difficult to find one with all of the things I needed. Go for it!
