My kids both love their new beds

The package arrived on time,it took about an hour to put together. My kids both love their new beds..It's enough room between the bottom and top bunk ,so a child can sit up easily in the bed without bumping head on anything.

    Easy to put together

The product arrived a little banged up, with a few scratches a dent in one of the legs - which wasn’t surprising when I saw the state of the box it arrived in. It took me and a 15 yr old about two hours to put it together (an extra set of hands is highly recommended and necessary near the end). Instructions were easy to understand and everything in the package was labeled. Only complaint from 15 yr old thus far is bed is “a little wiggly and a little high” but definitely an upgrade.

met expectations for a 10 years old girl

The product assembling is a breeze with clear instructions (and I am a non-handy person). The bed works for our setting and my daughter loves it. The reason it is a 4-stars instead of a 5-stars rating is that the bed makes squeaked when my daughter turns (laying down) on her bed and she is 10 years old who is 55 lbs

WYSIWYG - Great product for the price

The product came as described and even without securing to the wall is sturdy enough for my 8 and 12 year old kids. The assembly, although involved was pretty straight forward. The second one assembled more quickly than the first because I got the hand of it. The stairs (as on any bunk/loft bed) are hard on the feet. I fixed that by adding pipe insulation around each tread (light adhesive applied to keep it from slipping). I will attach it to the wall just for security. Overall great product for the price.

    Listen to the reviews

The reviews for this bed were 100% accurate. It's an excellent buy for the money, and is strong and durable. It's also a pain in the butt to put together (but really, who cares in the grand scheme of things?). Since this bed was purchased for 20-something's, we didn't put on the side rails, so that is an option if you don't want them on, it's the last step.

The sturdiness is perfect for the weight of a child, you can store you'd in yours underneath and I found it very simple to put together. I also loved the pricetag as well, very affordable

    No squeaking!

The thing I really like about this bed is it doesn’t squeak at all! It’s a little wobbly but no squeaking. Decently easy to put together. No problems.

There are alot of pieces to put together but it ...

There are alot of pieces to put together but it is totally worth it! I bought another set for another my daughter's room at Wal-Mart before buying this one for my boys. The girls are jealous and i do not blame them!!!

I know it should be obvious, but use all the pieces

There was a piece missing for the ladder on one side but I just put it against the wall. It was annoying but no big deal. This took FOREVER to put together but it’s very sturdy and serves its purposes. I put bed risers underneath so I could have more space so it makes it kinda rocky, but it’s fine. Put all the pieces together! I was gonna keep one of the safety rails off originally so I could get down easier, but it left it really unsturdy, so beware!

    Good headroom, attractive, sturdy beds

There were no missing pieces, the instructions actually include words as opposed to just pictures, and the bed seems fairly sturdy. I think the sturdiness depends on how patient the builder is. Take the time to line everything up properly and leave the structural screws loose so you have play when attaching everything else, then tighten them all at the end. Catharine/Bill Cole's list below of helpful installation tips was invaluable: especially the one about making sure the small drilled hole for the ladder is on the underside of the top front crossbar. There is nothing in the instructions to indicate that, and getting it wrong would necessitate undoing a lot of work. In addition, the white washers in packet #6 for the ladder don't really look like what you think of washers looking like, and unlike everything else you've done to that point they go on the inside, not the outside, of the ladder rungs. Also, on mine, there was a little bit of rust in a few places on the front top guardrail. But the main reason we purchased the beds was for their small footprint and so my daughter who is 5'6" could sit up comfortably on the bottom. And in those ways it delivers.
