The holes aren't clearly marked too well on the instruction (specifically for the ladder). Make sure to triple check that your holes on each match up or you're going to be disassembling the entire bed. Other than that super easy to put together!
The little gray snaps were a pain to put on originally, but the bed has held up well. The rungs of the ladder are more widely-spaced than usual, which may deter some young climbers (sadly not MY toddler). Four years later, we've disassembled the support for the bottom bunk, removed the front bar, and we are using it as loft storage over a desk for the little one.
The loft bed arrived today. It was easy to assemble, and it's perfect for the space. It really opened up the room. Our daughter hasn't slept in it yet, but it looks great. We are very pleased.
The loft bed can with parts that where bent. So it was hard to put up. Then I had to buy wood and attach it to the loft. Right now it’s perfect. Because of the wood.
I give 5 stars to service wow are they the best. I got help and fix the product problem in 5 minutes and the person that took my call was the best she even chatted with me as she helped me. I wish I could find her she she could get a good review.
The loft bed is super sturdy and worth the money the only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star rating is because the ladder is not easy to climb up. My daughter (5 years) and I both have climbed up it. She has a little bit of trouble and I'm sure with time will master it but when climbing up it does hurt both of our feet. I would maybe suggest altering the ladder steps somehow.
The only thing she doesn’t like is that she has to climb over the bars to get into bed. I wish it had a small opening and so does she. But other than that. It’s a good bed. Frees up so much space in her room. You can anchor it to your wall so it doesn’t wiggle and move.
The order arrived much earlier than anticipated ( was a bday gift that would of arrived late). Built it the same night. Started off backwards, didn't read the instructions properly, my fault. Started over without further hitch. Now i assembled this thing alone (didn't have a choice, single mother), it would have been much easier to have an extra set of hands (or more + covid times, can't call a friend). Point I'm making is, although it was challenging, it wasn't impossible to assemble alone. But, please have help if you can! Haha. My child love love love his new bed, build a secret base under. Only thing is I'll be getting pool noodles later on for the ladder steps, as it's hard on the feet to climb, but we were already planning that even before getting any loft bed. The instructions are fairly clear if you pay attention to detail. There are extra holes left over at the end if you want to add to it later on, although they did provide caps to cover them up. All in all, super happy with my purchase.
The overall quality for this bed is pretty good. We were able to assemble it in under 2 hours with 2 people. The assembly instructions were easy to follow (just make sure the cross members are facing the right way). It is sturdy and our kids love it.
The only issue we had is with the packaging. They package it with cheap Styrofoam panels and blocks. When we unpacked it, we ended up with little white Styrofoam pieces all over.
The package arrived a day earlier than estimated. It is a heavy box, weighing in at 80lbs. My boys carried it downstairs and we began putting it together.
I was first impressed with the paint on the entire frame. It is very well done and almost looks as if it is not painted at all. The finish is superb.
Next I was impressed with the craftsmanship. They thought of everything. The instructions were well mapped out. There were plenty of nuts and bolt for the entire bed. There were even extra screws to plug the unneeded holes on the bed.
Construction took about 90 minutes with two of us working on it. It went together flawlessly. It's very sturdy and includes anchors to attach it to the wall just in case.
My son loves his new bed!
