This bed frame was exactly what I thought it would be it’s very well presented. It took two weeks for it to come in completely. Which is something that wasn’t clarified so it left me worried when I received one part but not the other. Another issue I had was missing screws and the slide board came with two of the same sided arms which was pretty disheartening after spending 6-8 hours putting it all together. All in all it’s a great loft bed. I am loving it!
This bed has a high metal "cage" surrounding the upper bunk, which is good. The entire bed is about 6" lower than another futon bunk bed that we have. I would prefer that it be higher, because adults may have to "duck" when getting out of the futon sofa. It also sits lower to the floor, which means less under-bed storage. Our other futon bunk bed has unobstructed 10.5" clearance below the futon, which means we can easily put a trundle bed or storage under it.
Most of these bunk beds will move if the person above moves around a lot, but the bed is not in danger of collapsing. Assembly is not for the faint-of-heart, but my 15 year old son put it together in about 3 hours.
One nice thing is that there is a ladder on BOTH ends of the bed, so if you move it, there is still a ladder at the end of the bed! Most bunk beds have only one ladder.
Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.
This bed is a good value and when put together is sturdy enough to handle my rambunctious boys, but it's a bugger to put together.
My only advice is to read every review posted with tips on assembly and set aside a minimum of two hours to assemble. You really need two people to put this together and BEFORE YOU ASSEMBLE ANYTHING make absolutely certain you have each of the support bars in the exact right place with aligned holes for the ladder. If you don't you'll either have to take the entire bed apart at the last step (which is nearly impossible and will set you back an hour) or drill holes into the frame to attach the ladder, which is a huge pain in the butt but easier than taking the bed apart.
One more tip, get a long metal bar to help put the plastic clips into place, they're almost impossible to install by hand and this step is very painful.
This bed is a really good value (and American-made). It is quite sturdy even when used by adults. The parts are clearly labeled and assembly is straightforward. Yes, the clips can be a bit stubborn (although while I had occasional difficulty, my friend popped them right in), but when necessary a pliers helps. Assembles exactly as shown.
This bed is affordable, easy to assemble and works so well In a Small room. We use this for a teenager who weighs nearly 170 pounds and we’ve had no issues.
This bed is amazing! I am very impressed. I share a home office with our daughter so this was a great solution.... PLEASE USE THE WASHERS! I was wondering about all of the bad reviews about it being cheap, rickety... Ect. The washers are the key! There are two sets... Larger and smaller. This bed makes NO creaking noise... I am technically inclined but it took me about 5 hours to assemble. I took my time intentionally. I almost returned this bed before I got it bc of the bad reviews. I am so happy I went with many gut. This is a great bed!
This bed is as good or better than the beds in the local stores for way more money. Our daughter loves it and there is plenty of room under it for a futon, desk, or a cool play area. Definitely make sure you have some help for assembly and be careful of the overhead light or fan when setting it in place.
This bed is as sturdy as it gets! Time consuming but easy to assemble ( you need 2 people towards the end) and it’s super cute! Our daughter loves it!!
PS. It’s metal, so not forgiving for head bumps, etc. It is better for the 8+ age group.

This bed fit perfect in my 12 year old son's room and we put his desk with tv on it under and it fit perfectly..
