Im very pleased with this futon and frame. It looks very much like the photo, which is just what I wanted. It is comfortable to sit in (I havent tried sleeping on it yet, but the mattress is thick and I expect will be comfortable for that too). Its study and well made. Its really just what I had hoped it would be.
Note that the full unit comes in three boxes. I received the futon (mattress) first, by itself. Then a couple of days later the base of the frame arrived. Then another day I received the arms. The instructions came with the arms, and I didnt realize there was a third box on the way, so I thought they neglected to include instructions, and I contacted the seller to ask them to email them to me They responded the same day and provided an electronic copy of the instructions. I was able to use them to do most of the assembly, and I completed it when the arms arrived.
In summary: good service, good quality, and it looks great!!
Was a little challenging putting it together but my husband seemed to have enjoyed the puzzle game experience. The mattress came a few days after the base. Very big and fluffy mattress. Could not feel the wooden base at all. Base is very sturdy. The only issue I had was that the mattress covering had a smell. The covering came with zippers so you had the option of taking it off and washing it but I didnt want to risk shrinkage.
After two days the smell was considerably less but still present. It gets less and less with each passing day. No regrets though as you dont get pull out beds with that fluffy thick study mattress and base any more.
As a seat/chair, when lying down in it, it could hold me and my husband comfortably. Despite the smell my husband fell asleep on the mattress while testing out its comfort. It was a good purchase.
It arrived fast. The hardware fell out of a hole in the box the seller was quick to replace it. THANK YOU! Its perfect for our basement as a couch a guest bed. We are very happy with our purchase.
I wanted a sofa that incorporated wood and this one is perfect, plus we have a an extra bed that is super comfortable. We chose the 8 mattress. Easy to assemble. Instructions were very clear and parts were marked for assembly. I think we will be happy with is for a long time
Frame is solid and looks great. The mattress looks bad. Like others have mentioned, it arrived stained. Twill material is cheap looking. Just looks frumpy.
The futon cushion is not nearly as thick and firm as the photo shows on . In fact as wrinkly as the cushion is, it appears that the manufacturer did not put enough stuffing in it. The stuffing appears to be compressed lint of all things. My advice, buy it without the cushion and purchase a better quality one separately.
This futon took a while to put together. My husband is very handy and it took him about 45 minutes, so be prepared. Its a lovely wood color, just like the picture. The futon mattress (queen) is a little high in the back where you would put your head in couch position. No problem for us but in tighter spaces or low slanting ceilings it may be an issue. The burgundy looks great, however, the white threads that hold it together in spots do show. Im getting a burgundy permanent marker to color those threads in. Be careful opening and closing it. Theres a certain way to rotate it and pull, then push into place and put the back legs down when putting it down. Same thing in reverse for putting it up. Its very comfortable though. Looks great in our cabin. Very happy with the purchase.

Different and functional for our living space!

We bought this for our TV room. The wood finish is nice. The cushions are comfortable. We like it

Very happy with this purchase. Its durable, comfortable to sleep on and easy to convert. Perfect for overnight guests at our sons studio apt.
