Easy to put together with the right tools, it took my fiancee and I about 30 minutes to complete. As others indicate though its very short, Im 52 and the bench seat stands right under my knees. Serves its purpose for now.
Purchased 5 of these for a reception area that needed to be more homey. They are a tad short but we added 1 1/4 pieces under the feet and 2 inch cushions and they are fine even for older folks that cant get up from a low bench. Color is lovely. gooddd storage. Easy to put together. For the price, theyre niceee.
Im a little confused at some of the reviews that said it was hard to put together and that the instructions were bad. I told my wife that this was the easiest piece of furniture Ive ever put together. Everything was clearly labeled including all the hardware and was surprisingly sturdy when fully assembled. It is small like others have said but look at the dimensions people and measure to see if this is the right fit for your application! Would highly recommend this storage bench as you cant beat the price and great looks of it!
Seems durable. Im glad its real wood. I hate particle board furniture. The best quality for the price Ive seen so far. I wish there had been a longer version as I wanted a larger compartment to put a family of 4 shoes in. It fits most of our shoes just fine though, but not all. Great for sitting on to put our shoes on. Seats 2 people at a time. The seat doesnt always stay up though. We need to be careful with out 4 year old since hes smashed his fingers a couple times in the seat lid.
Packaging was very gooddd. Unfortunately it was packed with a cracked or broken piece. That I had to glue and repair.
Assembly was very easy and my daughter loves it.
This was on my Christmas wish list and my husband purchased it for me. We really needed someplace in our entryway where we could remove shoes before walking onto the carpet. This is exactly what I was looking for! It looks really niceee, exactly what I was hoping for. Oh, and since this was on my wish list, it doesnt show that I purchased it but totally a verified buyer. PSS. Hired someone for $50 to put it together and saved my marriage.
Love this bench!! This is the perfect bench for our entryway! It is very sturdy and the top opens up to store items. We currently have hats, mittens and scarves in there for the winter. We chose the black color although it comes in espresso but we love that it also acts as additional seating when company comes over and the perfect place for the kids to sit down and put on and take off their boots and shoes. My husband is also around 230 pounds or so and it is sturdy enough to hold him so I would highly recommend this to anyone! It looks beautiful! Now we just need some throw pillows to add a little personal touch
