Read the reviews about how difficult this would be to put together. Well, I am the first to get annoyed, swear and lose my cool. Not with this product. It took me 37mins. The parts were niceeely labelled; the instructions were very clear; and virtually everything fit. The hinge screw holes were NOT aligned, so I need to drill a few holes, and it was solved. I needed help with the second to last part of putting the seat in the hinges; so 10 mins of help.
Overall the product seems of gooddd quality. Surprised on the veneer being in such gooddd condition. Lets see how it performs.
P.S. Know the product is low cost, I was cautious not screw too aggressively. Just enough to firmly hold. Couple of times the screws were not holding their thread; so, this needs to be fixed.
My son put the bench together for me and he didnt seem to have much trouble with the assembly. Its a really niceee piece. I use it in the kitchen alcove with the dining table and its just the right height. Everyone comments on how niceee it is.
I love it!!!!! I get compliments all the time. I put it right by my door and so far so gooddd. I love how I can store shoes and sit on it with out breaking.

I was searching something that is compact to put near my entryway to serve as the purpose of both shoe storage and sitting bench ( to sit and put on shoes). This is the best priced and sturdy bench that i could find online. It is sturdy and easy to put up with. The openign and closing of the storage rack has hinge properly so that it takes to close it. Safe for when you have kids around. Our toddler sits on the bench to wear the shoes. Very helpful to have such benches during winter, when you have guests walk in via front door, or for kids and old aged people.
