Perfect, it is very sturdy too (passes the relations test) my mattress is about 13 inches from nest bedding and total its about 27 inches when I sit. So being that Im 57 1/2, Im not going low to sit to where Im about to fall. The Velcro makes it so the boards dont shift so yeah like I said its perfect. I have a kitten also so with him climbing on the headboard (he is in training) Im surprised his sharp nails didnt scratch it up/ trust me he has been trying. He also has space to play and dragged his toys under (idk why he does that). But this was a great find.
Probably the BEST bed frame Ive ever purchased. Im on year three with it and its still like new. Easy to clean, doesnt shift or move around and no noise when you get in and out of bed. The color is great and I enjoy the style of it.
Ive had this bed for 3 years now and it was a fantastic purchase! My mom did help me put it together, although it wasnt that challenging. One of the screws has fallen out and I had to screw it back in, but after 3 years?! No big deal. The headboard is soft and doesnt look cheap.

The lighting is poor but the blue slate color is ridiculously gorgeous.
I feel this bed was well worth it.
You could confidently purchase this and be rest assured its a quality product. Was made in China though.only down side. O well.
We bought this platform because we had a new bed on the way needed something quickly. It takes me a long time to pick out an item because I go through all the reviews such. This seemed like the perfect bed. Color was good(gray) and it looked pretty easy to assemble (we are in our late 60s and not as limber as the old days). Between the 2 of us, hubby I figured it out ( it took less than an hour). I was the brains he was the brawn. The one problem we noticed was the bed had a mark on it. So the question was; call them they would probably send us another piece or put it together the heck with it. We chose the latter as our mattress would be here in days. And we are not interested in taking it apart to replace the piece now. We are happy with it. Just know that the headboard is a little short if you use a lot of pillows. Fortunately we dont.
Only needs 15/20min easy to assemble and is super sturdy!! The kit even includes a ratchet, which saves a lot of trouble compared to a normall allen key. Also the blue looks very nice, not too saturated but not dull at all. If there are 10 stars in the scale Ill give 10.

Super easy to assemble with included tools. And the ratchet made it easy to tighten the screws.
