This took a really, really REALLY long time for my husband and I to put together as our daughters eagerly watched. Seems sturdy. Not terrible for the price and my daughter is happy. Compared to our other daughters loft hed that is second hand but made of wood, this one is eh in comparison but its good. Will update in a couple months.
Im a 140 lb adult got this because I live in NYC and my room is small. It has about 36 underneath for cube storage shelves, and I can also fit a large dog crate for my 70 lb dog underneath it too. Massive space saver. I just didnt install the outer railing or the ladderin terms of structural support they do almost nothing and are safe to remove. I have an ottoman storage bench underneath that I slide out to act as a step to get up. It took me about 2 hours to assemble (follow the instructions exactly everything will be pretty easy) and I made sure it was all extremely tight at the end so it feels sturdy. It will sway a tiny bit when you move around, but I havent had any squeaking issues mentioned by other reviewers here.
I needed something for my 5 year old that would not be too high, but still be high enough to store things under and give her a little space to have a reading area or even make a fort. This bed is perfect for that! I was able to fit a 9 slot cube organizer underneath and she still has plenty of room for her beanbag chair and room to spare!
