We assembled it in no time. Our daughter loves it and its perfect to store her toys under it. We have a ten inch mattress on it. The railing is about an inch above it. I suggest using an eight inch mattress.
Wish we could put padding on the steps as it can get cold.
It has been a month and seems very sturdy, no squeaking.
Package arrived on time in 1 huge box. (thank God for delivery drivers because I stay on 2nd floor) Direction was super easy took a little over an hour to put together. My 5 year old daughter is super excited and cant wait to sleep in her new bed tonight.
Good build easy sturdy frame. Didnt realize it was so short till we put it together. Looked at a few thought this was the taller one. My daughter will be 9 and has to bend way over to get under she barely fits in a chair at a desk but its an easy fix. Get furniture risers or get crafty
I ordered two off these so the assembling alone or took about 4hrs altogether. It wasnt hard putting it together, I would recommended 2 people though. The size and sturdiness of the beds are perfect, especially with 2 toddler boys. Lol
My daughter LOVES her new bed! Like others have mentioned, get yourself a pool noodle, and cut it into three pieces to cover the bars on the ladder. Makes it much more comfortable. I will update once weve had it a while, but its sturdy, and fairly easy to assemble.
For the price its a good bed. It was so easy to assemble and my daughter loves it. It is very sturdy as well. It has a twin bed on top and I had no issues getting up there as an adult. Its awesome!
