We bought this for my 8 year old daughter to use in her small bedroom. She helped me to assemble it, it took about 2 hours. We sorted out the pieces to verify they were there and this made assembly easy. The only trouble we had was getting the top rail on, but eventually we were able to complete it. We were able to put a cube unit underneath (3 X 3) I would say the only thing we dont like about it is the ladder. The rails can be a little uncomfortable for feet, but our plan is to cover it with foam and nons kid tread. Overall it was a great purchase and she is really liking it. Its not too high and not too low.
Ive built the full size version of this before and this was no different my daughter loves having own little nook underneith her bed and we have increased her space by a bit
This loft bed is a half size loft bed its a Jr not a regular size also is had a few back were botls thats screwed in back words and one we had to re drill out completely and putt weld on to insure safely and stranglth of bed.
Its been a good bed and sturdy after we fixed and installed and added stable screws n added weld to it.
Ok so I can be an honest buyer here when I say this bed is a a good buy. I bought 3 of these just different colors. Black, white, pink the black was a better build out of all 3. I believe that to be because the screws are also black painted instead of being steel shiny. Not bad beds just bad builders j myself kept thinking some were duds when my daughters white bed kept squeaking really bad. That was until I rechecked a 3 time to discover a loose screw was the culprit. All in all really good beds good value great quality. Also I put all 3 of these beds in one room recent single father so I only can do what I can. With these being junior lofts they have a perfect height of the ground so I can create there own space underneath. I am and they are extremely happy with all 3 beds. Only reason for a 4 star review price difference for colors other than black and pink was the most. Also pink took 7 days longer to get here. Other than that great beds!
This is aming! Great price, very sturdy and sooo easy to put together. I would make sure you have someone to help as it wouldve been a little more difficult to do by yourself, but I bought two and it took us about an hour on the first one and about 45 mins on the second bed! Read the instructions carefully and its super super easy!

You may get the wrong color
I was sent the wrong color bed, but the quality of the bed itself is awesome.
Screw holes are not all correct some are backwards
