The bed included the tools so that was cool. It was easy to assemble since everything had an alphabet letter. Although like any metal bed It is gonna be shaky after a while but handles weight well.
The assemble was alright. Did end up putting a couple bars facing wrong way, and had to fix. Which was annoying.
I recommend reading instructions before putting together. And while you assemble it.
It took my husband and I, maybe an hour and a half to put together.
My 10 year old loves the bunkbed and my 5 year old.
I am 52 and it stands about as tall as me.
Once it is put together it feels solid except it wiggles bad longways my teens were like we cant move it will break but the metal seems pretty solid. I may drill holes on back and add a cross bar for extra support. If you buy this bed READ directions CAREFULLY. The parts are not made wrong. It clearly says DO NOT TIGHTEN bolts on some parts because if you do other parts will not line up later. On the front bar it might seem like it wont fit but it does , just be careful and line one end up and go in at an angle, kinda lean the other end in toward the bed and slide it forward and down into place. That took me a hot minute to figure out.
When I first got the box, I couldnt believe a bed this size fit in itbut it did. My 3 kids and I put this together in a couple hours. Super easy to assemble, but you definitely need people to hold things together while you screw everything in. We are very happy with the bed. I did 4 stars for comfort, only because the bars on the ladders that you climb up, are very skinny and hard on the feet. We are considering buying seatbelt covers to Velcro onto them.

It was very easy to install but sturdiness wasnt there the middle bar broke on son within a month. Bed we bought was comfortable.
