I did a ton of research when purchasing a bunk bed and ended up with this one for my 7 and 2 year old boys. I chose this one because of the high weight capacity on the top bunk and the height of the top bunk (we can sit on the bottom bunk with plenty of head clearance). We also liked that we could get a separate standalone twin bed frame from the same company that matched for when our youngest son moves into the room. The bed has held up well over the past year. Its definitely been jumped and climbed on by the boys and its been fine. It does wobble a little more than I like and the ladder is a challenge for an adult to climb up, which is why I gave 4 stars. Overall Im still happy with this purchase. My father is a very experienced woodworker and he complimented the beds construction after he put it together. I think this is the best bunk bed option at this price point.
I read all the reviews at multiple websites before buying this bed, and ultimately bought it here because they had the Natural color I wanted for my sons room. A lot of reviews said it was hard to put together, but I did it in under an hour by myself, except for having a 2nd person to help with the headboard. The directions were pretty straightforward, but they are images only, no text, which might be more difficult for people who are language oriented instead of visual. I did have to put the footboard together twice because the first time I got the center panel in upside down, but that was because I didnt look at the directions that closely. It only added maybe five minutes to the build time though because this thing goes together fast. It feels intimidating when it arrives because its all in pieces, but dont let that scare you.
Also, this thing is SOLID. No creaking or movement even when my kids tries using it as a trampoline. One of the things we liked the most about it was the unusually high weight limit for a kids bed, which means I can lay next to him and read a story without worrying about the two of us coming close to or exceeding the weight limit. Its great and I highly recommend it.
We needed to get a bunk bed for our two sons and this one seemed perfect. Its all made from wood and has that woody smell. I usually dont like things that have strong odors, but this wasnt so bad. Its already been a few weeks since I put it together and I cant smell anything anymore.
Putting it together wasnt that hard and I was able to do it by myself in a few hours. However, I am a fairly handy person. The instructions were really clear so I think that anybody should be able to follow it.
The bed is really sturdy and doesnt wobble and most important, my kids love it.
The only issues I had were with the roof. In order to get the roof panels equally spaced youll have to figure that out on your own. There are no indicators of where to place each panel and how far apart they should be from each other. That would have been nice.
The other issue I had with the roof panels is the paint. In the box they all came stuck together almost as if they were placed in the box before the paint had fully dried. So when I took them apart the paint would be removed from some of the panels in a patchy pattern as shown in the picture. This affected more than half of the panels, so when placing them onto the bed I just had to make sure they werent visible. It would have been nice if they were packed with a thin sheet of paper between them. I tried contacting customer service regarding this issue, but I have not heard back from them as of yet.
Overall Im very happy with the bed and would still recommend it despite the issues I just described. I also wish I would have heard something from customer service even if it was just to acknowledge the issue.
Really sturdy and well made. My husband and I knocked it out in 30 minutes.
Somethings may be labeled wrong, yes but if you lay everything out, you can compare the piece to the picture.
The color is exactly as pictured.
Bed looks nice, seems sturdy enough. I was worried about the slats being too far apart, but the metal bar stabilizes everything well. Had some cracked wood in the headboards and footboards, but fortunately not where it shows or creates a usability problem. Has a strong paint smell so you might give it a few days to air before anyone sleeps in a room with it. Could have used more hole caps for the many exposed screw holes. There were about half a dozen, I think, but you need about 2 dozen for all the exposed holes.
Heres my biggest complaint, and I know its sounds trivial but turning out to not be trivial. Theres a large 3x12 ugly warning sticker on the outward-facing end of the top bunk. I peeled it off because its right where we walk into this room. The adhesive is nasty sticky and WILL NOT COME OFF. Ive tried goo gone, oil, 91% alcohol. Not sure what else to try that wont damage the finish. Its nasty enough had I known, I might not have ordered the bed even though it works perfectly for our needs. That big sticky spot is surely going to collect dirt and drive me nuts, and I cant believe I cant get it off because label adhesive is a pet peeve so I can usually figure out how the heck to get it off. At this price point, cant yall provide better quality adhesive???

Great toddler bed
4 year old helped assemble, fun project together. Though the slats were not easy. Great guest bed for company, too
Great bunkbeds
These bunks are for smaller children. Not much head clearance for adults getting in and out. That being said they are very nice.
Love this bed
We purchased for our granddaughter. She loves at as do we. Very nice, sturdy bed. I had zero issues with assembly. I
It took me two days to assemble
It needs a screwdriver to assemble, but its tool box doesnt have one.
Overall great, although has some minor issues

Sticky label adhesive ruins it!
