My 22 month old Son loves his Bed. Hes sleeping every night in it since we put it up keep he shows everone when they visit his bed I would definitely recommend this bed. Very sturdy well worth the money notes: Make sure your top matress is 6 inches or less in thickness you can buy stickers to cover bolts on the wood and make sure you measure the ceilings bc our top coldidnt fit on ours but it worked out ok we actually used it for a headboard for now for we will be moving bed in a year so we can install the top a later date. It did take 6 hrs to assemble but totally worth it.
2 yr old boy loves his new bed!! He parks his tractor and wagon in the space under the bed. He plays in the bedroom now for hours. He uses his tools to saw and hammer his house on top. He loves it!!!
We love the bed but we took the slide off after a few weeks (very easy to take the slide off). It basically drops straight down and is FAST which means kids pretty much brutally crash on the floor. Their room is carpeted and I added some blankets at the bottom but it didnt do much difference. Did not feel super safe and felt bad for downstairs neighbors. Also it just takes up so much floor space that would be better used for playing. So we took the slide off - in retrospect I would have picked a similar bed without the slide.
Apart from that we absolutely love the bed.
It did take many, many hours for a handyman to assemble.
This bed is a great value, and I would purchase again without hesitation. Perfect for a childs room. I did not assemble, but my son and his friend did. Together, it took them less than an hour. Both said it went together easily and felt to be of good quality. Feels so much nicer than IK$ furniture, which I would never purchase again.
Its hard to assemble.. a lot of pieces that couldve been more simple youll have to buy new slates they sell them at I hope the bunk bed doesnt get moldy as well.. it would suck seeing that the bunk bed is now 668$ when I spent 800$ a month ago also its 578 at bed bath beyond.. way cheaper with better customer service probably too
We transitioned right from a crib to this with my 3 year old son (who is a rule follower for sure.) he loves this bed! It took my father and husband 4 hours to put together. There were a few screws missing but overall it was about as advertised. We are very happy with this. My son is too short to get on the top bunk using the ladder but thats perfect for us. he sleeps on the bottom bunk.
Bought these beds for our twin grandsons, for their room at our house. Love the color, true Navy Blue. My husband and I were able to put them both together in about 2 and a half hours. The first one took much longer than the second one. The directions are all pictures. I have experienced worse directions, these were okay. It would have helped a lot if there had been stickers indicating front and back for the head board and foot boards, and if the stickers had been easier to remove. The stickers leave a residue and dont come off easily. The only other issue we had is the the wood is obviously spray painted and it is a very thin coat, more like a stain than a paint. You can see the wood color in some places and on the foot boards, if you are really up close. It is not that big of a deal to us though, we can always paint them again ourselves, if we need to later. The hardware and frames are great quality and craftsmanship. I really like that any exposed hardware is painted the same color, so you dont really notice it at all. The space height under the bed is11 3/4 tall and 75 long between the legs. We bought 10 twin size mattresses, when the mattress is on the frame there is about a total of 1 extra room on the side (1/2 on each side) and about 2 total of room on the ends (1 on each end). If the paint had been a better coating this would be a five star review. Very happy with our purchase.
