The bed is worth the money paid for it. My kids love it. Quite sturdy and easy to assemble. Only the slopes supporting the mattress could be a bit better in terms of their strength.
This is a great buy but having a fully charged drill and patience are paramount. The bed is solid once built but it is definitely a 2-person project. Took me and my wife some 2-3 hours to build as there are SEVERAL parts and the manual is very detailed. Once assembled, it's very easily to bunk and unbunk the beds.
I loathed the building process but the final product made it well worth it.
It looks great and seems very durable. The clearance between top and bottom mattress is a little small for a large adult but probably standard fur bunk beds.

My only complaint is the delivery because it was holes to the box but it was packaged solid so no damage to the wood.

My son is 45 pounds and while going up the ladder his foot gets pinched, contacted customer service and they are useless and rude.

Slats in head and foot board were a pain but happy with the quality and sturdiness of the bed.
