It is definitely a nice, sturdy bunk bed for the price. We got the gray color and it looks very nice. True to the color as it appears on . My only complaint is the stickers that come with the bunk bed in order to cover up the nail holes. The stickers were painted with the gray paint in the paint flakes off very easily to reveal a white sticker. Kind of defeats the purpose of covering up the nail holes
This bed is beautiful and seems very well made. However, I do not have it fully assembled into bunk beds because I need to purchase a LARGE drill bit to drill holes where the top bunk pegs should go. They should be pre drilled (on side is, the other not...see photos). This is my biggest pet peeve about diy assembly of furniture. I had hoped because I was spending more money for a quality product this would not be something I'd encounter. Alas, no.
Also, the delivery was nice in that it allowed me to set a window of time for delivery which is not something I've ever seen from . However, the window of time was between 12-3 and it didn't arrive until about 6pm. Very annoying and inconvenient.
I hope that I will be able to update this review with a more positive review once this process is complete.
We purchased this bed for a 10 year old and a 12 year old. The wood and bed are very sturdy. It does not wiggle. It wasn't difficult to put together. It came with the nail coverings to match the bed. My only worry is on the top bunk, the front side bed rail looks like it could break in the future because it wiggles close to the ladder. A good thing about this bed is that my 12 year old can sit up and read comfortably on the bottom bunk. There is plenty of room. My kids will easily use these beds as teens and adults in the future.
The delivery went smoothly and the beds were assembled within a few hours. We did have to utilize a rubber mallet a few times in order to get the pieces to assemble (especially putting the headboards together). I chose to follow the bunk bed installation process, but stopped prior to bunking them because my daughters are a bit too young to utilize the ladder, etc. I appreciated with this model that I could do that and then just wait for them to mature a bit prior to bunking them. My youngest daughter currently sleeps in what will become the top bunk and it is really nice to have the rails since she is a wild sleeper. The beds are very sturdy and well made. I highly recommend them.
My teenage daughter wanted a new larger bed for her room. She picked this one out of a few others that I showed her that we could afford after selling her bunkbed. This bed is pretty nice for the price point. It's a simple misson style which we liked. It holds our daughter's memory foam mattress perfectly, no box spring needed. The bed has a lot of support with the wood slats AND the metal bar. The bed was fairly easy to assemble with my hubby's help.
I took off a stars for these reasons (none of which are HUGE issues):
1. It has little screw hole covers that are basically stickers, which we left off...they looked lame.
2. The wood finish or something smells quite strong for a long time. It's not a bad smell, kinda like a woodshop but it def. has a bit of a chemical odor that lingers long after putting the bed together and its been a couple months and I can still sorta smell it.
3. The white painted finish is not SUPER durable. So if you have a young kid that is hard on stuff, this may get scratched up a bit. Not a huge issue for my teenage daughter.
If you need a bed for your teenager, or a guest room or even an adult bedroom, I would recommend this full size bed, for the price. You hardly can find such a decent bed for that price anywhere else....I looked!! I would def. re-purchase this again for her.
Overall, I really like this bed. It was somewhat easy to assemble and looks great in my son's room. The wood seems to be sturdy enough to stand the test of time with boys. If you are looking for a neutral and simple bed, this one is for you! The only complaints that I have would have to do with the assembly. Some of the holes that the bolt goes into are not deep enough which makes putting this thing together really difficult. We had to whittle out some additional wood out of a few holes to get the bolt to go into the nut. This was very frustrating. The second complaint pertains to the slats in the head board. The cutouts in the horizontal planks are much larger than the insert portion on the slats themselves. They do not stay still and it takes 2 people just to put this section together.

Great for the price.
Was able to assemble it all by my self. The kids love it.
Still TBD-but so far annoyed with assembly.

Super easy set up
Fits under the twin over full bunk bed. Super easy set up.
Love the versatility of these beds.

It's the perfect bunk bed.
It's the perfect bunk bed. Easy to assemble. Great quality. Exactly what I was looking for.
Nice bed especially for the price.

I am happy with my choice
Have used couple months already, I am happy with my choice. Thanks.
Great quality bed, assembly needs work.
