I spent 7 nights camping at Acadia National Park in Maine. One night and one day with rain.
I sprayed my tent prior to the trip with water sealant. There was NO condensation at anytime in my tent. First time ever.
Of course there was water in the screen porch area, but that is to be expected, it is a screen protected with a roof/tarp area. There is a screen area at the floor bottom doorway for any large amount of water to flow out. That was never the case. I used an old towel as a rug in the screen area as a door mat, and to clean any access water out.
Very comfortable sitting area for two camping chairs.
The inside has screen zip up windows on the doorway and 2 on each side.
The dome area has a screen to allow proper air flow.
I was concerned about the back of the tent. The back has a large screen netting that does not zip. I was concerned about heat escaping and cold coming in. Actually was not a problem. I simply chose not to stake the cord for the back of the tent and it stayed flat against the screen area. If I was in a very warm area, it actually would allow for great airflow.
The tent says 6 person, but in actuality, it sleeps two people with high-rise twin air mattress comfortably. Possibly 3 people with just sleeping bags.
I had my air mattress and camping chair inside at night. I am 55 and had plenty of head space to stand comfortably.
Two people are preferable for setting up the tent.
I have broken the tent down twice and am able to pack the tent, stakes and rain guard easily back into storage bag.
I do highly recommend purchasing heavy duty tent stakes. The ones with the tent do not adequately hold the tent in place if there is a gusty wind.
I also recommend using a large tarp underneath the tent. It will protect the base of the tent from tears and help keep the underside clean.
I am very satisfied with my purchase!
This was a very spacey tent. There was plenty of room for two adults and two dogs. Any more, it would have been really crowded. Its not the best for cold weather camping. The entire back screen of the tent does not have a zipper to close it, only the rain cover piece. We camped and it got to around 48 and it was darn cold. Also, not dog proof. Dog put a paw hole in the main tent on day one. Had so much fun camping though, I give it 4/5.
After 5 years of consistent use, my other finally needed replacing. Im always looking for a bargain but realized that other tents just didnt hold up the way this brand does. Got this one and used it twice now and its so great for camping. The patio/entryway was a lifesaver in keeping bugs and dirty shoes out of the main tent area. That said, as with any tent, it would be rather impossible to pack as many people in it as it claims. With two small mattresses and two duffel bags, it was already overcrowded and left no room for changing clothes or keeping things organized in a meaningful way while on the festival grounds. Lesson learned, but the quality and the feature of the patio is pretty awesome!
Amazing tent for a great price, I could not believe how great this tent is, we had a lot of fun, this tent looks expensive and nice and holds really well.
Id give this tent a 4.5 star review. This tent is very spacious, super easy to set up/tear down, and light weight. The only thing that was frustrating was that the second time we used it, the rope in the pole that attaches the rainfly snapped. I contacted to ask for a replacement and they are replacing the full tent!!
We tested this in the backyard on a windy, RAINY night.
We did not fly away nor did we get wet. GREAT ventilation, but you will need to keep cover on, or your neighbors can see right into the mesh-sided wall. But we talked about bow this would be great for summer camping too (we are in Texas) - felt like great airflow and even with fhe mesh-side, amazing for under the stars camping!
We are a family of 3 and this is HUGE! But we wanted plenty of space for bags, etc inside tent. Enjoy the exterior mesh room also , great for bags or to sit chairs (but remember this area is mesh sided and WILL get wet if rains.
Zero condensation inside.
Nice tall interior.
Great floor (we did not lay a tarp under us, prob will when regularly camping, but floor material is a nice thick tarp-type.)
Not super light, but a nice little duffle bag sized. And i was able to undo tent and fold up my myself (with a toddler running around) and pretty darn easily get into bag.
It was very simple for us to set up, we did it as the sun was really starting to set and it would have been nice to have more light but it was still simple!
Great tent. We upgraded from a smaller model, but this was a bit low overall for my 63 frame. The entry area is great to kick off shoes and store items inside the tent. But its a pretty short height and left me bent over at the waist most of the time. We had two people in the tent, so we were able to use a single air mattress on the side. This let me stand mostly upright in the main room and made it more comfortable. If any more (or more air mattresses), it wouldve felt much tighter.
Overall, worked great for our weekend trip for myself and my son. If you want a family in here, think twice about what you pack inside. Or make sure youre comfortably below 6.
Love the waterproofing and various window flaps. Kept the air moving on a warm/sticky night. And the entry area kept the dirt out of our sleeping area. This tent will get lots of use and seems very durable.
I was hesitant to purchase this tent because the negative reviews were especially negative, but I am happy I did. I am a woman of average height, and I only had minor issues erecting the tent myself. It is very roomy, and I am hoping I dont have to use the rainfly, so I can lay under the stars at night. The one I purchased was in perfect condition, nothing amiss. My favorite feature is what I have pictured: that ribbon to tear off to expand the bag!!!! What a genius invention! It made it so easy to get the tent back in the bag, so simple, so helpful. When I take it camping, I will update my review

I loved this tent, easy to assemble.
Made it through a hail storm
We got stuck in a hail storm and the tent made it through without any problems.
Best purchase!
