    Difficult to set up

The large back window doesnt have a cover, very awkward to set up especially the rain fly, other than that I liked the size and front area..too heavy for most women to carry

Not enough room for 6 people - maybe children. At the most, 4 adults.

Too small according to what is advertised.

    Great and spacious tent

8 person tent is great! I use it with my wife, 2 kids and 2 large dogs. Plenty of space, easy put up and down. Kept us dry inside under a ton of rain. Just a little water coming through the floor probably due to small holes from previous use (even when I always use an extra footprint. However, as shown in the picture, it was not the typical rain, the tent was practically floating and it held great. It also ripped a little in the area where the poles cross at the top but I was able to get it replaced. Overall, it is a great family tent!

    Awesome tent

I bought this tent 6 man 2019 and took it on my vacation 2019 on the cascade loop and we had 3 days of rain hard rain and I sprayed it with water proof spray on the first set up and it never leaked one time the porch does let rain in but oh well you cant have everything it is 2021 it is still in great shape and I would buy another one for sure. Oh it fits a queen size air mattress with room on both sides to walk

Good tent, rain fly does not stop water from getting into screened porch area

Bigger than I thought. Well made. Only complaint is that the rain fly does not cover enough of the screened area to keep water out.

    Excellent Tent

We have used this tent to camp out at the Bad Lands and all the way in between. It was simple to put up, comfortable, and the added porch in the front was a feature I never knew I needed until now. Overall really great tent and have so far loved our vacations in it!

    Great tent!

I have had this tent for about 3 years. I have been in torrential downpoursm, high winds and even some surprise hail and could not believe how well it held up with no leaking! I have seen some reviews that they had some rain get in- we made sure to not have anything touching the sides of the tent when it rained-that increases the chances of the rain getting in. The only thing that is a downfall is that if it does rain your porch does get soaked. It has some coverage but the bottom half is exposed. You are able to keep that front window open and watch the storm without getting wet though. If it doesnt rain its a great place to store stuff. I feel like it helps keeps flies from sneaking in as well.

    Held up to the rain!

Pros: This tent got us through a week of camping in northern Minnesota. Not a single insect got inside our tent thanks to the screened porch giving us a double layer of protection. It also rained pretty heavily one night and we stayed completely dry inside, despite the fact that we hadnt properly tucked in our ground cloth underneath and discovered A LOT of water under the tent when we packed it up. But it never came in! The way the rainfly fits over the windows was also great for ventilation in the rain. Easy setup if you follow the instructions. We did a practice run prior to our trip and didnt figure out until after setup that you need to put in the rainfly pole BEFORE you put it on the tent - thats what happens when you dont read the instructions first. The porch is great for extra storage...if it doesnt rain (see below). Cons: Its smaller than I thought. It was great for two of us on a queen-sized air mattress and all of our gear but it would be wall to wall air mattress if you try to squeeze in two doubles (definitely not two queens). You could probably fit a queen and a twin air mattress but even that would not leave a lot of room for bags or walking between mattresses. The screened in porch does NOT do well in the rain. In that respect its very poorly designed. The floor gets completely soaked and we ended up with a small lake in the porch that we had to somehow jump over while not smashing our heads/faces into the top of the porch to get out. You would need a pretty decent downward slope for it to drain on its own. I just cannot fathom why they designed it like that. But great for sunny days! Just be sure not to leave anything on the porch if the forecast calls for rain.

    Perfect!

A couple of things: 1. I always recommend laying a tarp down under the tent to prevent water from seeping in from the ground, which I did and was dry. 2. Always size up your tent at least 2-3 people more than those that will be sleeping in it for comfortably, which I did and was perfect. 3. This was incredibly pain-free to set up, though I do recommend 2-person set up. 4. This thing is frickin durable. We had 80mph winds and all we had to do was tether one of the tent poles to a tree with some extra rope we had, and it never collapsed or bent. AMAZING! I did not encounter rain with this tent yet.
