My kids loved it. And get tons of use out of this bed. I was able to make them a toy clubhouse on the the bottom. I just ran lights underneath it. I would love it even more if you could swap the slide on either side
My daughter begged me for a loft bed after her brother got one for Christmas. I finally caved and settled for this one. My son has the higher loft bed that has a futon under it. This bed is a lot sturdier and closer to the ground, which is way better for a six year old. The bed doesnt shake when she gets on it either. The slide is metal and goes fast, but it can only attach to the one side which is inconvenient. This limits the possible ways it can sit in her room. The slide actually takes up a good bit of space too. Luckily, my daughter has a large room . There is storage space underneath, but if you want it to look organized and cute, then that limits the space. I will note that she has a pillow top mattress and it is probably too big for the bed. It comes to the top of the rails. She doesnt roll around a lot or fall out of bed, but if your child does, you will want to make sure you dont have a thick mattress. She is thrilled with her bed, so I am happy too. For the sale price of 160, Im not complaining .
Bought this bed for my daughters 9/year birthday, and she loves it! Its not too high off the ground for fear of heights, (it comes up to my shoulders if Im standing/Im 51,) plus the rails are sturdy and strong (so is the construction of this bed.) She can sit under it, and we are planning on making it into a privacy place for her to play or hang out. Im 51 and can sit under it as well if I slouch a bit, and the slide (yes, I was begged to try it out) supports a 110 lb. person going down it with no indication of stress on it. It arrived quickly and I am well/pleased with everything! The quality is aming, and the slide can be removed as she grows. A trundle bed, mattress, futon, or flip/chairs can be placed under it with the extra space it provides, and it can be excellent storage or a play/hangout place. Just note that the slide does make it necessary for extra side space in the room it is in, but like I mentioned, it can be removed. (The bed itself is worth the price without the slide.) 100 satisfied and happy with this bed!

But the bed is sturdy and good quality. I wasnt excited about putting it together but was actually much easier than I expected.
My daughters love this bed (and it only belongs to one of them, lol)! The 7 year old (her bed) loves the slide and the play space underneath the loft. Its really the perfect size. My only suggestion would be to make the stairs and slide interchangeable so you can decide which side the slide goes on. But seriously, this bed is durable and the kids love it. You will need two people to assemble the bed and it took us about 1/1.5 hours to fully complete. Definitely worth the price too!
