I was having the hardest time with the hex nuts or whatever they are called and that stupid L key. How ridiculous! Are regular screws with nuts that much more expensive??? I can only assume there is a reason I dont know about. In any case, I went to the hardware store and found machine screws (I think thats what they called them) the same size and BOOM! Bench done! SO easy! Sure, I have to buy some paint to cover up the silver screws but SO worth it! It probably never would occurred to me had I not seen someone else put it in there post. Thank you, person! Whoever you are!
I love the bench! It came in 4 parts plus hardware and I ( a senior woman with a bad back) was able to haul the parts and assemble it with no help. It looks great on my patio and it is much more sturdy than the wooden bench it replaced. I highly recommend it.
Easy to put together.tubular metal structur to keep weight down to 40 pounds. Appears well powder coated so it shouldnt rust, well see after this winter. Suggest you plan on a blanket ot thin cushion if using in winter as the metal will naturally become cold. Looks good aroind our fire pit.
Very sturdy bench and great for the price. I have not used the type of locking screws that came with the bench and it seems you need a bit of muscle to get them secured. Love it.

Sturdy bench for back deck.
Easy to assemble but we needed 3 people to do it. I was impressed with the quality and appearance.
