In pieces with drain holes in bottom, little or no rust. In pieces without bottom drain holes, lots of rust. I just purchased it again and will drill the missing holes.
I am using this bench a a decorative piece in our garden but my wife wanted to use it on the porch since it is so pretty and sturdy. I am 250# and it feels very solid
At first I was well pleased with this bench and easy to assemble. Well constructed somewhat comfortable at a good price. Now after one overnight rain I noticed that all the welds show signs of rusting, Read the comments by others to apply minwax coating to preserve the finish over winter if kept out but one summer rain would do this. I had even purchased the minwax to apply before winter. Now must clean up rust on existing welds and attempt to apply the minwax spray. Very disappointing, would have given it fewer stars but everything else about this bench is fine
nice looking bench, not sure how long it will last but it feels good so far. it is not heavy and is easy to assemble. Some of the copper brushing came off while assembling so it is painted on brushed copper that looks pretty real except that moment.
