The table is nice, heavy and decent quality. Unfortunately it is not a table for a novice to put together. I had to pay someone to come in and build it as after 30 minutes of staring at and trying to understand the instructions I had only managed to make a mess. If you are not a pro at reading and understanding how to build stuff dont order this table. I love it its a nice table but it was very stressful to try to build and the instructions are not very clear

this table is great. i was looking for a coffee table this size that i could use my laptop on the coffee table with and i found the lift-up style before i landed on this one and im very pleased with it. it raises to the perfect position to type on my laptop, i love the storage, and it was super easy to assemble.
New or used -- This table is just not meant to be shipped. Went with a used one (listed as good condition with that was repackaged) for a 2nd attempt and it came more broken than the previous. Cracked entirely down the middle on both sides, so which didnt allow the other pieces to align or the base to take on the weight of the rest of the pieces. Not worth it -- Just pick up a version in-person and skip the shipping.
Originally I was upset over our new coffee table having some issues. I had to get different leg brackets and a piece of one is the panels chipped but this table is great. We spill everything on it and it cleans up like new. I feel bad I was so angry abut the legs. It’s held up and the compartment is awesome.
I do love this coffee table now that it is assembled. It had terrible directions. I have put together many many pieces of furniture in my lifetime and this one and I were fighting lol. Other than that. It is solid, and functions well.

Modern storage/coffee table
I love my coffee table, it’s the perfect storage for my games. The design is exactly what I was looking for and it fits perfectly in my livingroom.
