The good:
Sturdy -the lift top is not rickety at all. Doesn’t wobble
Like the design - looks like real wood - although we all know it’s laminated
Price is on point- if you but this in furniture store it’ll cost you $500
The bad:
Assembly - you need to place 1-2hr time frame to get this done
The so-called small wrench as part of the tool is hard to use .. if you have tools it will be easy for you.
The instruction doesnt say to screw both bolts securely on the hydraulic lift and that is a key item to do so the lift top wont be rickety.
Overall… i recommend this for price and quality.
We received this coffee table in a relatively timely manner which was great! However, it was this imperfection that it came right out of the box with. I can not find any way to contact seller personally so I am leaving this review. Great table, but has a few nicks. I should also note the box was in perfect condition so this does seem like an issue that was over looked in the manufacturing process.
This coffee table is alright, but the directions to put it together are terrible. The pictures arent very helpful and do a poor job of showing the orientation of panels and the pre-drilled holes.
Id recommend using a small drill and wrench during assembly. My table came missing pre-drilled holes on the bottom, the nuts on the arms inside the table were not finger tight, and the small wrench that came with the table didnt grip properly. I ended us using a nut driver attachment on my drill to loosen them. Also one of the included dowels snapped in the middle during installation
Overall, its a good-looking table, but its kind of a gamble materials-wise. Id recommend checking out a similar option from a different manufacturer.
I’m big on using one item for multiple purposes, especially when living in an apartment. I love that this is not only a coffee table, but storage and a laptop desk with a lift top as well. I’ve used the lift top many times already now to do work and it’s been easy on my back. I’m enjoying this product!
Its okay the assembly was kind of annoying and the particle board isnt the greatest it came with so many chips. If it didnt have the chips Id say it was a 4
It’s bigger than I thought for a smaller space and the gray is definitely black. It throws off the whole look of my apt and the style I had been creating. Wont return bc it took so much work to put together. hard to assemble so take your time!
It was the perfect coffee table for a small place, it’s stylish with lots of storage room. Very easy to assemble, I’m really happy with it! Exactly what it said it would be
The only complaint that I have is that when I sampled it and Ive assembled many, one of the screws messed up the top in one place. Various a crack in the top however I just put my plants on top and the steel needle to use the Lift Top!
This convertible coffee table to desk makes working at home comfortable and efficient! The directions were easy to follow as everything was labeled correctly. I use my coffee table/desk everyday to work from home. I don’t have a ton of space in my apartment but this coffee table allows me to transform my living room into an office space.

Imperfection in product

Charcoal grey is closer to Black

Fantastic coffee table!
