    Great Coffee Table

This is a great coffee table. Love the lift feature. Very easy to use. Assembly was fairly straight forward. Ran into a couple of issues installing the lift component, but very manageable with just one person. There were a few knicks and dings in the wood, but were finding that anything in black is going to look that way. Overall, we are thrilled with this purchase.

It looks just like the picture

This table is perfect . The fold up feature provides a higher table top that you can eat on or work on. The color choices are true . The sturdy design and its unique style compliment my living room . The choice I made for a coffee table was a good one. I am super happy with it . Easy to put together with good directions. I would buy this again .

    Alright for the price.

I guess I should have pulled a measure tape out to see how small this thing actually was. Because its small!!! We bought it to replace some random coffee table we bought many years back. But after some 7+ years of use the poor thing was showing its age. It is also quite tall which kind of gets on the way when we watch TV as our TV is at eye level with us sitting down on our sofa. So wanted something shorter but that a lift top so we could still eat at our sofa and it didnt cost an arm and a leg. Most furniture store versions of a lift top coffee table are like 400 bucks. So this 150 buck table was very tempting. Sadly it is very small width wise. If only it was like another foot wider... Color is okay for a black. Putting together was a breeze with the wife help. But not overly complicated instructions at all. So to clear up my pros: Nice black color, Easy to assemble, Small height wise, and Nice storage space. My cons: Small when it comes to width, The lift top locks in place and you have to reach in there to close to unlock it to close it, Very light weight so I dont trust being rough in any shape or form with this, and i wish the stabilizer bar on the opening mechanism was further to the other side. But yeah this is cheap and for the price it is quite good for what I have seen so far. Its only our first day with it so will update if I figure out anything else in the future. And man USPS just throw the box on the middle of our drive way. They made the drive into my drive way and instead of just putting on our porch which is the flat with the driveway they just throw it out of the car apparently right on the middle of the driveway.

Surprising quality from an inexpensive table

This table isnt anything fancy, but it definitely exceeded my expectations. First thing out of the box, the packaging is incredibly well designed, the styrofoam is wrapped in clear plastic so you dont have a terrible mess when unboxing. The table itself is made of wood; a cheap wood with a simple dark stain and no sealant, but still its so much better than chip-board. The table is held together with cam-bolts and cam -locks, so decent sturdiness but not rock-solid. Fully assembled, the table is only 18 high, but rises 6.5 for 24.5 total height with the top extended. What impressed me a lot is that there is a latching pin to keep the table fully extended with a load on top. Overall, still on the inexpensive side but I would buy this table again.

    Easy to assemble. Sturdy feeling.

Update Sept. 2022: after about 1 1/2 years with this table it is holding up to plenty of daily use as a desk, dinner table, part of an obstacle course for the dogs. My only complaint has been the paint. There has been terrible chipping on the table top that made it look horrible. I put a couple coats of paint on the top and it looks beautiful again. I would still buy this table again. The hinges work well with no issues, its very sturdy and is holding up to a busy family. -------------------------------- Original Review: This table was just delivered this morning so this review is mostly based on delivery, packaging and assembly. I looked at a few of these type tables but my daughter has this one and shes very happy with it so I took her advice, and Im glad that I did. As always, delivered on time. The table was packaged nicely. Plenty of protection for the pieces inside the box. The assembly instructions had a few areas that required a guess, but really not difficult to figure out. Assembly was so easy and went incredibly smoothly. I definitely suggest this be a two person project only because of the awkwardness of trying to hold the pieces while you connect them. Overall my daughter and I had the table assembled in 20-25 minutes. The lift top is heavy but easy to move up and down and I like the way it locks in place when its in the open position, yet quite easy to lower by simply pulling a pin and then pushing it into place. The base of the table is sturdy, no wiggling or loose feel. It looks and feels like a much more expensive piece of furniture. It is definitely not flimsy. Im impressed and happy that I chose this one over some of the other options that had reviews indicating that assembly may be difficult.

    Its the one to get

Great buy. For the money this thing is solid, sturdy and yet super easy to lift the top with the spring loaded hinge mechanism. This lift top is so easy to lift but it does have a support bar going across the top of the storage space underneath so that space is limited and difficult to access while the top is up. The thing is so easy to assemble. The instructions were followable if you look close. The best thing is that the whole top comes already put together including the entire lift top mechanism. I also really like the way it clicks solidly into place with the lock/release assembly. Easy open and close released position and a strong sturdy locked open position. All in all we love it! Might be a little small but very well built and the lift top comes up and out to a great height to have leg room but still have a sturdy work surface for a desk or eating surface. The finish holds up great even with cats!

    Eat from

I have wanted a lift Top table since They came out decades ago. I finally just ordered. Its smaller than our other table but not too small. Easy to build. Lifts well. Locks in place. Wish it came more toward the sofa for eating and working. But works for us.

    Great table

I love that this a real wood table. I hate those particle board/pressboard ones because they lack any real longevity. I wished this were a bit taller, but when the top is lifted, it becomes an excellent little table. The laminate material used appears to be high quality. Only dropping a star, because it could be a bit bigger given the materials used, it would easily handle it.

Im super impressed with this $150 table!

I had some concerns purchasing this table given some of the negative reviews, but I wanted something made of real wood (which it is) and inexpensive (which it definitely is). After spending less than an hour assembling it, I have absolutely no complaints. The table is sturdy, attractive, and very functional. The only tiny qualm I have is that the sole plywood piece (which is the bottom of the lift top storage area) is a bit flimsy. We dont store weighty items there, mostly redundant remotes, game controllers, etc. so I dont see it being an issue, but there it is. Otherwise, this table is solid. I really like the locking function of the lift top; it makes eating or working at the table easier with no sway or instability. The table surface itself looks like a finger joint butcher block. I expect it to hold up well to everyday wear given that it is solid wood. I went with the natural color and luckily didnt find any scratches or marks. Overall, Im extremely pleased with this table and would recommend it.
