I guess I should have pulled a measure tape out to see how small this thing actually was. Because its small!!! We bought it to replace some random coffee table we bought many years back. But after some 7+ years of use the poor thing was showing its age. It is also quite tall which kind of gets on the way when we watch TV as our TV is at eye level with us sitting down on our sofa. So wanted something shorter but that a lift top so we could still eat at our sofa and it didnt cost an arm and a leg. Most furniture store versions of a lift top coffee table are like 400 bucks. So this 150 buck table was very tempting. Sadly it is very small width wise. If only it was like another foot wider... Color is okay for a black. Putting together was a breeze with the wife help. But not overly complicated instructions at all.
So to clear up my pros: Nice black color, Easy to assemble, Small height wise, and Nice storage space.
My cons: Small when it comes to width, The lift top locks in place and you have to reach in there to close to unlock it to close it, Very light weight so I dont trust being rough in any shape or form with this, and i wish the stabilizer bar on the opening mechanism was further to the other side.
But yeah this is cheap and for the price it is quite good for what I have seen so far. Its only our first day with it so will update if I figure out anything else in the future.
And man USPS just throw the box on the middle of our drive way. They made the drive into my drive way and instead of just putting on our porch which is the flat with the driveway they just throw it out of the car apparently right on the middle of the driveway.
Alright for the price.
