Got it in record time. It was so easy to assemble that my female friend did it herself - with the tools included - in about 15 minutes or so. It looks good, is very sturdy, and has a lot of room underneath if you want to store things: in my case its just a great cat-play area for now. I am truly impressed, even after a month of use at how well this performs and what a good deal it was for me. Would buy this again - assuming I needed another queen platform - in a heartbeat.
Assembly was straightforward. My bedroom is a very tight space, and despite this, the frame went together easily. The packaging included extra hardware and the tools required for assembly. The wood appears to be of good quality as is the dark finish I chose. The support slats could be a touch heavier and the legs a bit taller, but I didnt see anything close to this quality for the same price.
I got the dark brown king. it is all wood. Metal parts are the bolts, screws, and a U bracket to hold the middle support. looks good, strong and sturdy. I added some furniture pads to the bottom of each leg. Make sure you add extra furniture pads to the legs in the middle so that it is leveled with the corner legs. The middle legs are off the ground by a millimeter or two.
This bedframe is fantastic and was remarkably easy to put together. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new, solid, well-made, platform frame.
