Ive had this bed for about two months now because I needed to replace a trendy-but-lightweight metal bed frame that had caved in after only 4 months. After that bad experience, I was very picky about wanting a wooden frame with a support bar that ran from head to toe instead of across. This bed fit that bill. It arrived on time and undamaged which was nice, but I was really nervous it would have a metal support bar when I specifically wanted the wooden one pictured. My worry was correct, but I only docked the product one star because so far, the metal support has been sufficient—just not what I ordered. The color match is also not great, but I wasnt buying it with the intent of seeing the wood, so it doesnt bug me. Its way more of a dark cherry than an espresso, if that matters. Overall very satisfied, will update if anything changes.
One of the best wooden bed frames Ive had. I set this up alone following the directions, super easy!! The frame is very study and doesnt squeak at all. The velcro straps on the planks are so helpful in keeping them down. All around very impressed. Only complaint is that to increase under bed storage, dont assemble the metal legs along the center frame. Otherwise I still fit 2 suitcases, 2 carry on suitcase and several boxes/bags under the bed comfortably.
After 6 months of using this bed, I can honestly say this is the best sleep I have ever gotten. So happy with my purchase, and at half the price you might pay at a name brand bed outlet. I shopped around a LOT for beds, as I knew I would be spending a lot of time in mine.
One complaint: after a little bit of use, I noticed the bed sinking toward the side I slept on more.
The smell everyone is talking about is something I never noticed. I let my mattress air out for the 72 hours that was recommended and the factory smell dissipated quickly. I wonder if this might have been a problem with older beds that had stayed in the factory longer. Nonetheless, I am very happy with my purchase.
Of all the furniture Ive put together over the years, this was by far the easiest!!! Clear instructions, well marked parts, and a tiny rachet worked like a charm!
This frame is beautiful and easy to set up. The brown color is rich and deep and the many slats give the sleepers the security you want. I love this frame and it was a real bargain!
This frame is awesome. It took me a few attempts to finally figure out assembly but once I did it was a breeze. 51 110 lb female. Lol. Its soo sturdy and the dark wood is beautiful. Amazing quality. Dont listen to the nay sayers! Buy it!
