I got the dark brown king. it is all wood. Metal parts are the bolts, screws, and a U bracket to hold the middle support. looks good, strong and sturdy. I added some furniture pads to the bottom of each leg. Make sure you add extra furniture pads to the legs in the middle so that it is leveled with the corner legs. The middle legs are off the ground by a millimeter or two.
