Its actually a really neat frame. The height is adjustable. It comes in a hundred pieces though. But the head and foot boards are fully assembled. It took me an hour to put it together.
I was looking for a sturdy brass/like bed (vintage brass/bed classic look) for a reasonable price and this fits the bill. Well/made. Medium/hard to put together but not due to design flaws like most. You just need a friend but it is possible to put together yourself. Very happy to find this amount of classic quality for the money!!
I ordered 2 full size beds to put in a small bedroom in our cabin. They fit perfectly, but were a pain to put together. The holes werent aligned with each side, so they couldnt be tightened as needed to prevent them from being a little wobbly. I used a box spring mattress. I read the reviews before I purchased several said you didnt need a box spring. You DEFINITELY need a box spring! I would say they are perfect for what we are using them for...a weekend trip here there. Have tools to assemble and maybe a hammer to help push screws through.
This bed (while heavy to get up the stairs) was SUPER easy for me to assemble by myself; it took me about an hour. Its sturdy and mostly squeak/free. When it starts squeaking a little, I just tighten the screws with an allen wrench.
61yrs old and was able to assemble completely on my own..AND...after using shorter legs and seeing it was to low to floor( toddler bed ht) I then took apart and replaced with longer legs...again, all by myself.
This is in our guest room and it was simple and cost effective for what we wanted.
Could not comment on sturdiness yet...
But I will say packaged perfect..instructions, easy to understand
Was done in just over 1 hrs, start to finish!!!
I will be looking for something a bit more ornate for our master bedroom ( king)
Overall very pleased with this purchase.
Did YouTube on it even
Love the style of this bed! It has two height options which is wonderful and you dont have to use a box spring.
Now I cant wait to paint my room to pull it all together!
This frame took me about an hour to assemble by myself.
The biggest hurdle I encountered was trying to figure out if I needed to use the low or high setting when assembling the frame. It didnt really give any helpful suggestions in the instructions and there werent very many reviews that specified what setting they used. So hopefully now I can provide some helpful input / I have a 12 matress with no box spring and I used to higher setting.
It looks great and feels pretty study, didnt seem to make any creaky noises when we tried it out. It seems to be a great bedframe at an affordable price.

Great bed, box spring is not needed with a pillow top matress

Great antique bed!
This goes well with my semi /antique hodge/podge furniture.
Just as pictured
This bed was easy to assemble and looks just like the picture. So far it seems very sturdy also!
