Beautifully designed and made! A great value.

Pairs well with Magshion bi/fold mattress (which we find very comfortable) / the platform is slightly larger than the mattress, still the function is fine. The assembly instructions are great and easy to do, though we still managed to have a few hearty laughs putting a few sections backwards. Upon completion, and folding, a dowels came out, which affirmed my thought that some of the doweled sections ought to be glued in place. Overall, a beautifully designed and built piece of furniture.

    American Craftsmanship at its Finest.

This is a great bed frame. If youve ever worked off assembly drawings, or parts breakdowns this will be easy for you. It isnt complicated or convoluted in any way. Take your time with it, and make sure you have a mallet, 2 phillips driver, paraffin for the screws, and maybe a 3/32 drill bit/drill IF you WANT to pilot the screw holes on the substructure pieces. Though the drill and bit arent required. I took extra steps and used hide glue in the doweled joints. You can use the same or Titebond III. You will have similar results with less mess and a longer open time with Titebond. The packaging was superb for the lumber, and the wrapping was excellent. No damages, no missing parts, no issues. This isnt a designer piece of furniture as many believe, but is a pragmatic addition to your living space that is 100 functional. And the form is sleek. It is unfinished, and that great. It gives you the chance to make it yours. Boiled linseed oil, or an oil based clear coat would work great for the frame. Poplar is beautiful in its own way, and your not left with trash rubber wood. Form was about 45 of my decision to buy this frame. The other 55 was functionality and the quality produces. The company is a group of hard working Americans, making high craftsmanship bed . Buy buying this frame, you are contributing to that idea that higher priced furniture and crappy craftsmanship are not the traditional American way. You will be proud to own this item. I know I am. One extra tip, the screws on the top slats are raised, meaning not countersunk into the lumber. Ive included pictures. Im sure it wont be much of an issue with the mattress, but you can counter bore these down about 1/8 of an inch. Take a 1/4 drill bit, mark 1/8 with masking tape as a depth stop on the bit, and drill down. Or use a 1/4 forstner bit. This should be sufficient to alleviate any catching of the screws on the mattress. Though this is extra work, its really not a big deal. Many quality items require tweaking to get a desired outcome. But with that said, you could easily spend 500/1000 more for something half the quality with nice aesthetics, and zero longevity. This is a heirloom within itself. If you take care of it you will have it for your entire life, and so will your kids. I hope you choose wisely!

This was a dream to put together

The parts were all there, fit perfectly and when put together according to instructions it is very stable. The assembly video on was very helpful. I stained mine and will use it for truck camping and visitors. I have not used it yet, because Im looking for a mattress. But Im confident that its gonna work fine. I doubt there will be any issue unless you have kids jumping on it. Besides, its wood and you can always brace it if you have issues.

LOVE A LOW PROFILE BED FRAME!

I love this bed frame so much! It was very easy to assemble if youve been assembling Ikea products your whole life like me. I also LOVE that you can easily fold it and move it around. Soooo smart if you plan on moving soon. Super low profile which I was looking for. The frame can creak a little, but thats all bed . Overall, soo happy and its so cute, simple, and stylish.

    Sturdy minimalist frame

Great frame, and I love that its foldable for easy transport while remaining very solid. Its also made in the US, a huge plus for me. This is a great frame for a smaller apartment, as it essentially fits under the mattress, creating a clean floating bed look. Its 58 inches, so about 2 inches too narrow for a true queen mattress, but this is totally fine. Like IKEA, the individual pieces are small and appear like they may be flimsy. But one assembled, its very very solid. For additional stability you could glue the dowel joints together, as they do shift a tiny bit. But that doesnt seem necessary, its very difficult to actually pull them apart. The wood is raw unfinished poplar, which has very interesting coloration. Its much more unique than pine. I treated mine with linseed oil and tanned it in the sun to give it a slightly golden/teaked look. Out of the box it does look green, but if you stick it in the sun for a few days it will get a tan. Poplar is light sensitive. I recommend coating with linseed oil like Watco Danish oil. This gave mine a hard finish which helps protect it from bumps. The linseed oil really helps the grain stand out, and aids in turning the green in poplar into a pleasing honey color. The only con / I do wish also made a night stand and TV stand to go with their / I like the simple arts and crafts/mission style, but its difficult to find poplar furniture like this to match.

    Quick build. Sturdy bed.

The bed was super easy to put together. It took me and the fiance about an hour or less to put it together. We have had three adults sitting on the bed no problems or wobbles. Even some more vigorous activities on this platform have revealed on squeaks or instability. For the current price, the full bed version of this product is a steal and wonderful quality. 100 would buy this again and recommend to friends and family.

Overall aming so happy , but one thing.

Over all a great product ,looks fantastic easy to move, Assembly was a breeze till the one issue. My one complaint is attaching the upper platforms to the frame was tricky as the dowles holes did not line up .The frame holes fell in between the holes on the platform. This was remedied but just drilling into new areas rather then the predrilled hole.

Very nice quality, easy to assemble.

I dont know why people say the instructions are bad. I followed them, step by step, and had no trouble putting the bed together. I have a bad back so it took me several hours to assemble. With no back problems, it would be a leisurely hour long assembly. Only used a mallot. Seems really sturdy. I bought it for the weight capacity. Say itll hold 500 pounds. Myself and my 100 pound dog make about 260. Most twin only support 275 pounds. So this was the choice. Its very good quality for under 100.00. Beautiful poplar wood. Sanded nice, very smooth. But no finish on it, which is fine. Im 63 and carried with ease to the bedroom after assembly. It folds in half for storage if needed. When I ordered it, said it would take several weeks for delivery. It came in 4 days! What a pleasant surprise. And its made in the USA. Id recommend this frame to anyone.
