This is a great gas container. I totally recommended. I was glad I had this on my garage this past weekend. There have been gas shortages in the east coast and gas has been in high demand. This gas tank totally made my day. Its a big 10-gallon container. Enough to refill my small Sedan. Unlike other gas tanks this one it is different. Its heavy duty, safe, and secure. It is made of stainless steel and it has a great secure sealed storage design. Ive always been skeptical about gas container because of the risk of fire so when I bought this one for an emergency, I took my time at the store and was willing to pay the so I could buy this one. I was very skeptical about the other red containers. I was skeptical about spills.
Be assured that the handling or dispensing of gas or any other liquid will be both safe and secure (no spills). Ive done it a number of times and I feel pretty comfortable. As I mentioned earlier, the storing of this container is also secure. The locking mechanism on the container make you feel calm and peaceful. Also dont worry about the ventilation on the container. The air vent on it is great.
So if you are looking for a great gas container or you are looking to safely transfer or store any other flammable liquid this one will be a great choice. I bought this in case of an emergency and right now that there was a nation-wide gas shortage due to a pipeline problem this can came in handy.
I totally recommended it!
Nice looking can. Arrived in a timely manner. However; The nozzle is one of those EPA mandated worthless bright ideas. Lost about a half gallon from leakage trying to pour in my truck, too big around to fit in Ford F150 fill and leaks in several places. Weird inpractical shape for pouring and get this....A normal functional nice type of nozzel will not fit this can, you must use the supplied piece of !! nozzle only. Shipping the thing back is just too much heartburn,(gas fumes), so its a total loss of, to me, right much money. What a Drag....
I mistakenly ordered the wrong size from and wished to return them for the correct size. I was informed that I would have to pay to ship them back, something I was not accustomed to from other manufacturers I have dealt with in the past. My order was slightly under $500 for the cans, it cost me $150 to send them back in the same packaging and same FedEx service. I elected to get a refund which they processed promptly but I was still out the $150 for return shipping. They appear to have a good product but if I had known a shopping error on my part would be so expensive to correct I would not have ordered from them. I have since ordered my cans from another well known supplier, a company perhaps large enough to have a more customer friendly exchange or return policy.
Weld is properly recessed in the seam, cap seals properly (no smell in my garage after weeks), lid locks into place to allow pouring, welds around handles look clean.
This is pretty much identical to the original German design. Fun fact, in WWII America tried improving on the design and only ever made it worse. There is a reason that they are expensive and built the way they are.
As far as Jerry cans go, the can is excellent.
I have mixed reactions to the pour spout. It is designed to be anti-spill and it seems very solid. It only opens up to let the fuel out when the end of the nozzle is depressed, like being placed into the fuel tank. Im using the can with a lawn tractor. The tractor has a little over 5 gallon tank, and even though the tank started near empty, I could only get about half the product out of the Jerry can before the anti-spill spout stopped the flow.
If I was using this for putting fuel into a car or truck, Im betting it would work perfectly. I started to only give the product 4, but when I got to this point in the review, the problem is more with the tank receiving the fuel than with the Jerry can or the pour spout.
The price on these just keeps going up. Dont wait. Get one now. Fact is, these are outstanding jerry cans. Weve had a few different ones, and the are the best. Well constructed out of excellent materials. They hold up extremely well. They follow the original design that was proven to work. Its a shame they cost so much. When I purchased my first one for about $70, I thought I paid a little too much, but I was happy because the quality was so high. Now theyre running over $100, and, dang it, theyre good, but Im not sure theyre that good. Still, single best gas can, and best jerry can, that there is.
I like that it is stainless steel. The plastic spout and plastic that holds the spout to the can did not survive shipping. If it gets broke in a box that does not bode well for long term overland use.

Completely and Utterly Worthless

Well made- Everything
Impressed with the epoxy coated interior and overall quality, I am a fabricator and welder, this is the BEST of the best when it comes to gas cans.
Poor customer service policy

Legit jerry can

This is the H1 Hummer of gas cans

Pour nozzle is both a pro and a con

Never thought I would feel strongly about a gas can
But these are pretty bad ass. They look cool AF. Sturdy. Good craftsmanship. Cant wait to get a rack on the Landrover to put them on. I got black.
Silly Expensive, but the Best Jerry Can

Better than plastic
