The first three of these Jerrycans arrived and were missing the spouts, but made it right and replaced them. The second set of three Jerrycans were in perfect condition factory new condition with the spouts as advertised (as they should have been) in the first place. These are awesome gas cans; well worth the money. I have seen and used the cheap ones and am glad I upgraded to these.
The bad: I gave up after the second can was shipped trying to get one perfect and undamaged. The protection is non-existent. Thin cardboard box, no packing materials - the slightest bump during shipment will dent it. Needing it for a trip, I accepted the second one shipped with a small dent on one edge.
The good and bad: The EPA compliant filler nozzle. For me, it is AWESOME - but my primary need is for filling the motorcycles on the road. The fact the nozzle flows very slowly and can be shut off while filling makes this task a snap. If however, you plan on filling larger tanks on vehicles - youll hate it. Buy the other nozzle that flows freely and has no shutoff mechanism.
My last Jerri can of 25 years finally gave up. It did not have any internal rust prohibitive coating. Just Gas. I purchase to replace some plastic units that were getting squishy. When the second one cracked at the handle i knew it was time to go back to the tried and true. The plastics didnt last 5 years.
A lot easier to pour than the old Donkey DK spout. Probably the last fuels cans I will ever need.
Welding balls all along seam. Seal will leak if any lateral pressure is given to spout while fueling. Spout easily gets stuck in car and causes spill. Gasoline discolored black paint. Paint scratches really easy in holder
Very well-made, this thing is air-tight, and the black complements my black Jeep nicely, mounted to the tailgate. The can doesnt vent, so if storing fuel for a while, youll see the sides start to bulge a little. Open it very slowly so gas doesnt come spraying out.
This is a very nice Jerry Can. Mine arrived with a cracked spout however (see pictures). Not sure what to do as delivery took a long time and dont want to return the whole item. Just would like to have an un-cracked spout.
Looks very nice, looking forward to mounting it on my truck.

great gas can
this is the second 2 cans I bought due to them having a nice paint and not leaking even upside down. This will make a total of 4 purchased so far.
Worth the money.
The real thing.
Great - depending on your needs and expectations

Nice can. Seals well, did not spill when tumbled in vehicle cabin.
