While somewhat cumbersome to assemble, this coffee table was well worth it in the end. I am someone who definitely enjoys projects, so I dont usually mind. But with all of the gadgets in this table, I STRONGLY recommend this project being a 2 person job. Once it is assembled, the table is everything it is promised and perfect for any space, especially someone with a smaller apartment and limited storage.
This looks nice and is so far holding up to the use of a work from home mom and a toddler. The only dip was for assembly as the base just would not line up and getting the two top piece to align was so frustrating I just decided to live with the gap and an off center top. Otherwise it looks nice
The top comes to a nice height for a laptop, but getting the sliding top squared up/aligned is a nightmare. Once you set it and finish assembly, theres basically no fixing it. Also the braces for the legs will not stay tight. Probably a dab of blue loctite on all 4 corners would have helped
This table is beautiful and super functional. However, it fell apart after only 2 weeks of being used. The table legs snapped and the entire table collapsed. I was super bummed.
Great table! And pretty easy to assemble / some patience required in position the tops.
The only change I am making is to put felt pads on the bottom replacing the gripper ones it comes with so that I can slide it closer when using the table lifted / my sofa is deep and I need to pull the table closer once Im seated. If you prefer or need it to stay put though, the grippers work well!
Bonus, looks beautiful!
I like this table very much. It was well thought out and works as advertised. I am not a fan of particle board though so I will take it apart and rebuild the table from solid wood. Great table for the value.
Great value for the price! I was nervous to get this, but its definitely worth it and Im so glad I took the chance. I put it together alone and it took me 2 hours. It wouldve taken a shorter amount of time if I had someone helping me, Im sure. All pieces were there and most of the little parts came with extras just in case, which I appreciated since I have a puppy that likes to get his teeth on anything he can find! You definitely need a second person at the end to help lift the top part onto the bottom, but other than that, as long as you have the time and motivation, its definitely do/able by yourself. The top pieces fit together perfectly. There is a slight gap between the 2 pieces of the top but that doesnt bother me. Overall a great furniture piece!
I bought this because it has two separate storage spaces. As was mentioned in other reviews, it doesnt come with directions and I had to reach out to the seller for this / easy enough. It took about 3 hours to put together because the directions arent entirely clear. Connecting the hydraulics was the most challenging part, but I eventually figured it out. Now that its complete I love it and would absolutely recommend.
Love the look and functionality of this, but its not built square so the pieces do not fit up evenly which is disappointing. The top is not square as noted in the instructions, however it still does not line up with the edges or between the 2 top pieces. Its very noticeable.
