Best piece of particle board veneer furniture Ive ever seen. Very sturdy construction and design. Hardware is very high quality. Metal frame is solid and wood box portion is equally sturdy. Im sure the veneer corners will get dinged eventually but for now its very impressive for the price. Definetly would reccomend. Has ample storage space. Lifts up to a great height. Plenty of room for food or as a work surface. Love it!!!!
I love this thing! I can imagine this lasting forever! I could not have done this alone, you need to read the instructions carefully, a couple pieces need to be assembled a certain way. We had no major issues with assembly, you dont need a power tool, we did most of it manually. I love how multi/functional this is, especially for people in small spaces, highly recommend!
Great quality, the assembly is made extremely easy in the instructions (each part is numbered so you dont look for them everywhere).
It took me 1h 21m 54s (and 341ms) from unpacking to assembled (alone).
Im a great handyman however, perhaps even the greatest that ever lived in the entire cosmos
IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE YOU ASSEMBLE:
1. The 2 metal square tubes (O and P) have different lengths! This is written as a remark at the beginning of the manual but when its time to assemble them (step 10) it should be reminded. I didnt pay attention and had to remove the spring system to swipe them because the top would not align correctly.
So if you find yourself with a top that doesnt quite align to the holes of the spring mechanism, its because you inverted these 2 metal tubes.
2. The 4 pads that go under the legs to make the table grip to the floor have 3M tape on one side but also a transparent film on the other. Nowhere they tell you to remove it and I bet 90 of people wont realize this. If you dont remove it, well you end up with a slippery pad instead of a grip pad.
Highly recommended.
I personally didnt see the corner blemishes some of the other reviews mentioned, it looks like they have updated their packaging with triple layered protection on the corners in the box.
Either this table looks great and feels aming for the price! I would highly recommend. The instructions were clear, butt since the table has lots of moving parts it is slightly harder to assemble than your average coffee table.
Pros: nice looking, seems sturdy for the price, love the . It wasnt the hardest to put together. I did it, as a woman, alone, in about an hour. Just the last step of basically lifting to whole top was difficult. Has a fair amount of storage. I was worried the lifting mechanisms would take up the inside but they dont.
Cons: wish the orientation of the was adjustable so the sliding piece could go left instead of right to fit my sectional. There was a mark on the outside piece that looks like a scratch but is actually the coloring itself.
This table makes me unreasonably happy with its slow close top. I didnt know s existed until I saw one at a friends, but theirs had springs instead of Pistons. The feature was the same, just very loud and you had to be careful cause it would slam shut the last 3 inches when closing.
Get a piston table if you can. Its way better.
Assembly is much easier if you have a power driver. I put it together by myself in about 2 hours working leisurely.
