Well made. It was just what I wanted. I bought this for my 3yr old, I had order it from walmart. It took me 2 days to put it together, really wasnt hard but its a lot of screwing and tightening, the hardest part for me was the stairs. The door is not fully on but I might eventually take it off and place her stuffed animals in there as a cubby. I did purchase the curtain set to go with it from and let me tell you when everything was finished and I showed it to her, she was so excited and happy, she called it her castle.
Bought this for our new home when we moved so my daughter could have a place to go underneath instead of the bed just taking up that whole section of room. We have her little bookshelf underneath and we go under there to read her stories at night before bed.
It is incredibly sturdy and well put together. I built it by myself while my wife built OUR new bed in the master bedroom. Well, not by myself, because my daughter helped a ton.
Even with my daughters help it did take quite awhile. I did need my wife a couple of times when I had to pull two pieces together to fit them but with two people I think that the whole thing would go rather quickly. ALMOST doable by yourself.

Very happy. YES, this item requires buyer to put it together That is why it is priced so affordable. If you click on service for assembly it will cost abt 171. The process is not complex when you read and study the details in the illustrations . Dont think you think you know where the piece is placed. I used a hex screwdriver instead of the allen wrench.I recommend a full inventory and inspection of each part BEFORE you start.I gave four stars because altho the bed is a good solid construction, it does squeak when getting in/out of it.I have a call into CS and they are very good at returning your calls.Overall, Im happy with this purchase.
Well built!! My kid loves his bedroom. it is fun and practical. It took me about 3 nights to assemble it, so set some time apart for that. Also, DO read instructions beforehand and make sure to insert the round bends in place before tightening the screws it will be way easier and simpler.
It goes great with the curtain set, my kid enjoys his time at his hideout.
