Sturdy wood, thats why it cost so much. It took about five hours to put together. I cheated and used a power drill but I just went slowly. It wouldve taken forever if I knew this school driver. Also it helps to have someone help you. It is recommended to two people. But Im pretty sure one person can do it. Two person just makes a lot easier. Definitely recommend this. Lots of storage. It was missing one or two things but it wasnt that big of a deal. I had some extra screws from another project and was able to use that. I will definitely buy this again.

I moved and misplaced the screws to my bed and the owners shipped me new screws with no charge and no problem! Space saver.

This bed is both beautiful and functional! I love how much storage it offers and the shade of brown is just perfect! If you are low on space and would love a wooden chocolate tone bed, this is the bed for you~ Very functional.
So first off, the quality of these boards is great. Super happy with the material. The only downside to this bed is the amount of effort it takes to build it. This is a TWO person build, minimum. Everything has to be screwed in and put together manually. After everything is built, the entire frame is quite heavy, so make sure youre building it in the place you want to keep it. Fits a queen no problem (size I bought). In my personal opinion, for the price and the amount of labor you have to put in to build this frame, it should have come with the headboard honestly (which you have to build also ). Otherwise, everything about this bed is awesome and functions exactly how its supposed to. Love it. Works great!

This was difficult to assemble but it was an adventure to build alongside my husband for our first bed. We love the storage capacity and the aesthetic to it. It is pretty sturdy and withstands all kinds of activities. The only downside is if you have to move it then disassembling is probably going to be a nightmare and it may not be quite the same once you reassemble it. Very Sturdy product.

Very practical. Assembly is easy but be prepared to take a full day to do it. Simple and easy to put together.
