There are lots of pieces to this bed, I was shocked. I watched a video where someone said it took 30 minutes to set up, that how long it took me to get all the pieces out of the box and line them up on the floor. In total it took over 3 hours by myself... Note, I was in no rush.
Wish I could send it back and go to the store and pick one up but for a single bed this thing is heavier than my queen bed made of natural wood. The thing is when all is done it is a beautiful and very sturdy, well made bed, just wish they had done some of the work.
There was one instruction that was out of order. It instructed you to place locking nuts into cross supports before the side support. Unless you have at least 2people to hold them from falling over and having the locking nuts fall out you can’t do it. You must attach cross supports to side supports and then it will stand up allowing you to insert locking nuts in and easily finish putting it together. Also, you should attach drawer slides to cross supports first. Then when you attach the sides you are nearly finished.
There were small scratches all over the drawers and a piece that was broke that looked like it was glued back in but I don’t have time to send it back and get a new one to see if it’s good (or worse) so we just put it together anyways other then that very happy with it
There were some concerns here. The backboard behind the night tables is thicker than the bed headboard. Occasionally one of the drawers will begin to disassemble, but that is easily addressed with a screwdriver. The storage under the mattress is decent, so the space-saving feature is useful. The memory foam mattress I use sits at an appropriate height. No climbing up or falling down. Reasonable value.
There’s a lot of space for storage. The drawers have to lift up to open & close. It’s a little lower than anticipated but I didn’t check that measurement before purchase so it may say in the description. A little difficult to put together. Overall a great bed for my daughter’s room. Pretty.
This is a very nice bed when put together my son loves his new bed I also ordered the headboard which you will have to put wood between them yourself for the drewer would open ESH _ 6643 looks nice together

Quirky Instructions
There were some quirky issues with the directions and the order that it recommended the parts go together, but overall a solid bed once put together.
